Yeah, the sheer volume turns me off, too. It hurts my ears whenever they've got screechy kids (which is fairly often) screaming "MOOOMMMMYYY!" and "NOOOOOOOO!" every two seconds. I don't know how the parents put up with hearing those ear-splitting shrieks every minute.

I have learned quite a bit from Jo. Although I have questioned whether I want a second child after watching the devil-spawn on this show.

My perennial problem with ABC--a show I really like, and I have no idea when or if it is on the air anymore.
I have yet to see an episode of that show where the kids were the problem. It's always the parents who either 1)are too wishy-washy and inconsistent to ever discipline the kids properly, or 2)can't be bothered to do anything with the kids other than park them in front of the TV or send them to nap, leading to kids who are bored, antsy, and won't go to sleep at night.
