So, so bad. I am embarassed for gays everywhere that this utter crap is pretty much the only TV show that represents them. And, wait, are we still to believe that Toronto is Pittsburgh--gay mecca to end all gay meccas?
And, also, thank you oh so much QAF, for making EVERY character unlikeable this season. Michael has turned into an annoying little bitch, Ted's every-gay appeal has turned into a pathetic pity parade...and don't even get me started on the lesbians...blech. The only character I can (barely) tolerate is Emmett, and that is because (only my opinion) Peter Paige is the only decent actor in the cast. And he can only do so much with that poo poo they call a script.
That said, I will be tuning in every week...

I don't have Showtime, and I only just recently got caught up on S4 through renting the DVDs. I know it's going to suck but I go for it anyway. And I'm sure I'll rent S5 when it comes out. Why, QAF, why? Why won't you let me go?

Considering how charming Hal Sparks is everywhere else I see him, I was surprised at how much I loathed his presence on my TV screen.

I love Hal Sparks, but I can't stand Michael. I know we're supposed to root for his character, but I always just want to tell him to butt out of everyone else's business. He's so annoying.

Kinda on topic: Am I the only one that thinks that Gale Harold looks a little...different? When he's shirtless they shoot him from the chest up and his hair is all types of fucked up. Robert Gant on the other hand is look like man candy. Love it.

I really slept on him when he started on the show though. Didn't like him at all, but I was a hardcore Mikey/Brian shipper and when it came out that Bri/Ben got together I was upset!

I TOTALLY agree. Michael is worthless -- and Hal Sparks does nothing for that character. He completely overacts whatever naivete Michael is supposed to have and just comes across as DIM. And I swear, if he had the chance, he'd totally dump Ben for Brian. (BLECH!) Speaking of Ben...

I've been watching this show every season and every season I swear it's gonna be my last because it sucks SO. BAD. In fact, after this first show, I want to stop watching again -- why MUST Ted be such a moron? why is Justin still considered HOT? where is Brian's money coming from? why is Rosie O'Donnell on this show next week? -- but I'll watch again next week and I'll be sad when it's over. Because like every single character on this show, I am just THAT pathetic.

Oh, one final thing: The whole "Rage" movie? Would never, ever ever get greenlit in Hollywood. Ever. And the comic book? Was absolute SHITE. I can't imagine Justin and/or Michael churning out anything remotely literate or interesting in either of their lifetimes.

I actually asked a question about Brian's money in the recap! It's funny because I'm getting email from people saying that they are going to read the recap, and then they'll talk about the ep and say something that I spent time on.. so it's nice to be on the right track sometimes.

***Zowie Zephyr! I also talked about Rage the Movie too! And how it was a stupid movie!

Ted's story line was soooo stupid! I still haven't watched the 2nd ep, I'm going to finish it today, but it seems his stomach grew to Orsen sized proportions in just one ep!

I hate Conner! With a passion, and I hope they dump this movie thing entirely so I will never have to see his stupid face again. It's like, they gave me and ep with Hunter and Conner? Do they want me to keep watching?

But then Conner got that awesome sex scene with Justin (which, Justin's bush aside, was hotttt), so I reluctantly gave him back a point. Well half of one, but he's still negative.

Anyhoooo, on to watch the next ep!!!

Damnit, I read the recaps and though I promised I wouldn't watch, I am going to, cause you make it all so entertaining.

To be fair, I've always thought Scott Lowell was very good. (Remember that scene where he found his junkie boyfriend unconscious on the stained mattress in the crackhouse? Underscored by the aria from -- what was it? -- La Boheme? Lovely emotional moment, that. And hey! Remember when Ted was the resident opera queen? 'Cause the writers sure as hell don't.) Thing is, they for some malicious, sadistic reason turned Ted from the show's Mensch to the show's Mess, and I think Lowell's reputation as a performer has taken a hit as a result.

Christ. Ron Cowen and Daniel Lipman suck. And yet they still think they're the gods of gay drama. Assholes.

Heh, I like to tell people that StickyKeys is exactly whatever nasty thing they think it means, but really it's the most uncreative user name ever.

I was registering for TWoP last year and trying to think of a name and I had the shift key held down for a little too long. This message came up that said "would you like to activate sticky keys?", and I said, "no, but I will be stealing that name!"

I was going to do Stacky because that's what my friend calls me (or Pistachio because of my name, her name is Keely and I call her Kiwi. It's a long story, actually it's short, just stupid.)

I started QAF because of my love of Hal Sparks (shut up!) and have been hooked ever since. I pay a crap load of extra money just to watch QAF and SFU. So sad, but well worth it.

The recapping has been hard with 2 eps this week. I'm kind of procrastinating, but I'm going to watch the 2nd right now. I'm actually looking forward to it.

That's the thing about this show. It's really knid of sucky, and non representative of anything, but dangit it's like Herpes, once you catch it, it never goes away!

Actually, it was more like rampant and ungovernable shitheadedness and douchebaggery. It got to the point where anyone who realized the show was a big, steaming pile of crap and had the (insert pearl-clutching gasp here) unmitigated gall to say so on the boards was immediately and viciously labelled a homophobe or a self-loathing traitor to The Cause. And on top of all that, the most rabid posters were bragging that they weren't reading the recaps because of all the hatred therein for the odious coupling of Brian and Justin, so, you know, the site basically said, "Screw you."

And you thought the American Idol boards were bad. Heh.
