There's our boy! If I actually worked at work I could sympathize with you... if only they would give me equal training. I really hate this place.
Anyhoo, I think the comment must have been taken from the British series. I don't remember hearing it on the US series and no one I've asked knows either. Of course they are still reeling from all this Britin crap.
I also noticed the Dixson thing and then blocked it out by shouting each time I thought he was going to say her name. Thanks a lot Demian.
Is it sad that I recap this stupid thing and didn't know their names were Cowman and Lipman? Like I knew who you were talking about, but I've always gone by the hybrid.
The weird thing is that I won't miss this show at all. I'll buy the season DVDs (and only buy season 3 & 4 because I like complete sets), but I don't feel this sense of not being fulfilled like I think I will with SFU (which by the way, WTF?!)

Maybe they just wanted a ripe foundation upon which to support years of Brian/Justin Mpreg fanfiction
I couldn't resist.

Whoops, I was referring to the snowflake thing. I don't think Mikey would ever be bold enough to say that unless it was in the bathroom stall where they got super high, or at the comic book store. It sounds more like something that Brian would say to Mikey.

I don't get the B/J fandom. I thought the finale was good. In the end everybody got what they wanted. Brian NEVER wanted to marry Justin, he was doing what he thought Justin wanted, but Justin didn't want Brian to change.
What I thought was stupid was that Justin couldn't marry Brian AND go to NY. I mean what's the big deal about Justin going anywhere, he was in LA last season and last I checked, NY is closer to Pittsburgh than LA.
In my universe, Justin will come crawling back to Brian and Brian will shut the door in his face and tell him to get lost.
The way it ended was the way the British series ended, with the two of them dancing.
I think Babylon did reopen because you saw people standing outside.
I was glad to see Daphne there.
I'm glad Brian and Justin didn't get married, if they had then the finale would have been even lamer and sappier than it was.
I was glad Ted got rid fo Tad because saying "Ted and Tad" was making me ill. Glad to see Blake again and NOT just because I saw that actor in "Rent" four years ago.
What was up with Emmett? That scene with him and the guy he knew in Mississippi was just silly and felt wrong.
Oh and my mom is sad this series is ending, because she thinks Gale Harold is cute. Then she watched "Weeds" and felt better.

That would be awesome. I've been wanting that to happen forever. I think the closest is when Brian took Justin back at the beginning of season 4 and basically made him agree to sleeping with other people, never having to say I love you, and not referring to each other as boyfriends. That was some good stuff right therr.
I think Babylon reopened too, but God, how long does everything in this show take?

Man, I'm trying my best to get through this tribute show, but the self-righteousness is making it damn hard.
Most priceless moment so far: Cow (or Lip) saying "Gale Harold reads the scene and afterwards he lit up a cigarette...he was so Brian-esque, I was just blown away."
Oh my gawd! An actor who smokes? Clearly it means he's born for the role.

Heh. I was barely hanging on by a thread towards the end. QAF and it's godawful writers have sufficiently broke my heart. I can't really even think of any good commentary on the finale.

I haven't posted in this thread for a while, because I wanted to make sure everyone had a chance to discuss the Series Finale before I came in and skewed the convo back to season three, or whatever.
So anyway, I watched this show for the first time about three weeks ago, so I can hardly call myself a Justin and Brian shipper, but I must say that what I've seen of the show thus far, their relationships has totally been the most engaging part of the show for me, and I really did want to hear that they did end up together in the final episode.
Firstly, I liked Brian because his attitudes toward the rest of the characters often reflect my feelings about them. Ted and Emmett get on my nerves. I laughed my ass off in that episode where Ted got drunk and shoved Emmett in front of everyone. I was always glad when Brian was there to say something rude to the annoying people.
And I liked Justin and Brian as a couple because I'm just totally sick of all the trite, cliche network TV romances. J and B's relationship was totally bizzare, but part of me identified with that, and it was intriguing to see how they would each respond to the weird things they did to one another, and how they would end up back together after whatever problematic shit would go down. I wasn't necessarily hoping to hear that they got married in the Series Finale, but I was hoping that the show would end with some kind of indication that even if they took time apart, and even if they got in a fight or whatever, that it was all part of their uncommon love and they would always come back together and somehow be a part of one another's life.
But from what I've heard--it didn't end like that. Justin goes to NYC and leaves Brian all alone, with every indication that it's for good. Shucks. Ehh well.

I feel like we need to memoralize the end of this series.
