How does that make her a skank? Well, I thought she was a mean bitch. Good riddance. I felt sorry for Shaun, though, but at least he got away from the mean bitch. Mindy is nice but I hope Chuck and his partner win.

I thought it made her a skank because she didn't really like him and was just cuddling with him because she was bored irregardless of his feelings. But you are right I change that to she is a mean bitch. Sounds much better. And when she was going off on Sean she was really a mean bitch.

My 12 year old daughter thinks Chuck and Mindy should get together after the show ends.

I like this show, but I'm suspicious of it. Maybe because of Ashton Kutcher?

The WB website says the women are "academically challenged" - but Mindi is a student at U of Missouri, which contradicts that. She's the smartest of the girls, for sure, but answers more questions correctly than her geeky partner, who is supposedly "brilliant". (again, according to the WB blurb)

For the rest of the couples - a brainy guy who lacks self confidence and social skills is teamed with a ditzy, superficial, pretty girl who knows about fashion, but little else. (and some of them aren't even all that pretty) The guys learn that pretty girls are just like everyone else, the girls learn that a guy doesn't have to be a "hunk" to be a good catch.

The Mindi/Richard team seems contrived. They're not like the other teams, she's not ditzy, he's not smart, and yeah, he gets questions a ten year old could get right. And the same learning process isn't happening. He gets more annoying each week, she puts up with it. She carries the team in the elimination rounds, because he lacks some very basic knowledge. Richard gets more airtime than anyone else, he gets to deliver his little finger-pointing "REVENGE WILL BE MINE" to the camera, and WB let him go on Regis & kelly before the show was over.

Chuck and his partner won. In a thrilling tie-breaker.
It was Richard's fault that they lost. He didn't know Mindy's middle name. I don't know why but I totally lost interest and only watched this around making supper while waiting for Dancing with the Stars. I guess they are having an after show next week.
I do have to say that Richard is a very fine pianist.

I have to admit that I wanted Richard and Mindy to win. Chuck's sense of superiority (to Richard) was very difficult for me to stomach. Why try to force Richard to have the same experience as you? Richard was obviously learning and growing (heh) in his own way.

Chuck started to annoy me, the way he spoke, yeah ok you're super smart but not smart enough to try to speak like normal people. Bleh.

A second season is coming?

Good lord. Mr. Wolf and I watched just a lil' bit where the girls are answering questions, and I get all pissed because one can't do a simple addition without her cell phone...and then proceeds to WHINE about it. Another one of the girls has to validate that she knows history by getting an A on a paper she wrote.
