Every single time I've seen an ad for this show, it is actually prefaced by from the daring mind of Ashton Kutcher.... Daring mind? WTF? What a shameless, self-promoting loser! Have you ever in your entire life seen a producer attach his name to a show in such a pathetic attempt at self-promotion?
I could not physically make myself watch this piece of crap even if I thought it might have potential just because of that tagline. God I can't stand him.

Daring mind? I think the only dare is that someone would say that Kutcher has a mind.

That's the concept. That noise you just heard was feminism's dying gasp.

I've somehow totally missed any mention of this abomination show. Where and when is it airing?
My first thought is to wonder what woman would go on a show that is intentionally making her out to be an idiot. Then I remembered that Britney Spears has her own damn show that she "produced" herself.

How did they measure the intelligence of these people? Give them IQ tests?
Why don't they make a show with a female geek who has her pick of seven hunky guys? But no, female reality TV contestants always have to be HOT, unless they're on Extreme Makeover.
Shows like Nanny 911 don't count 'cos they're married.

I read a review in USA Today and they said that it was shockingly tasteful. The Beauty and the Geek have to work together, not compete, and there's no attempt at romance or anything lame like that. I'm kinda interested in seeing it, hearing that.

If this show succeeds, that better be the format of next season.
I've only seen positive reviews on this, which is weird. I may check it out tonight while killing time before my other candidate for guilty pleasure comes on (the ballroom dancing thing on ABC), even though I can't stand AK and by brain hasn't forgiven me for watching Britney's show last week.

I don't give a damn how many positive reviews this show has gotten.
The fact is, this is Asshat we're talking about here. I cannot support any retard that markets sport brand Kaballah water (got that little tidbit on Rick Ross's site...I (heart) Rick Ross...Yes, that's right. I have some serious fangirl squee for Rick Ross. Sorry if I'm too lazy to find the exact link at the moment.)
Aside from that, of course, anything that calls his mind "daring" is just something that has to be avoided by me at all costs. Daring, my ass. It's Average Joe, with more than one girl is all.

I watched, I kinda enjoyed--or have I just been swayed by all the positive reviews?
The short blonde pink guy, his partner, and the geeky guy are interesting, but I hope the other contestants get fleshed out more in future episodes--the others are all just a jumble of camisole tops and not-that-geekiness. (Am I the only one who thought the guy who got eliminated was quite conventionally attractive?)
Stuff I learned:
Anime producers weren't just making it up; male virgins really do get nosebleeds at the drop of a hat.
Apparently, TV producers consider really, really liking The Dukes of Hazzard to be a sign of above-average intelligence.
Gore's running mate in 2000 was Lieberman. (Shut up, I was overseas and didn't vote.)
