Also, fondue was a product of the late sixties and though it lasted until the 70s, it had fallen off the radar approximately 1975 or so.
Actually there is a restaurant here in St. Louis called The Melting Pot that is a big favorite w/ the general populace. I think it's kind of kooky; I mean, it's fun but it's really expensive and I don't like sharing my food w/ the whole table (a) and (b) if I'm going to spend that much on food I would expect for it to be filling. I'll take a $15 steak from Applebee's, thankyouverymuch.
