I wish someone else was playing Self. Every other man on this show has some kind of appeal. Obviously Scofield is attractive. I don't have to recapitulate why. And I think Mahone has a certain strong masculinity about him that makes him stand out; I don't know if he fits a conventional standard for attractiveness but there is something kind of magnetic about him. I think even T-Bag has an oddly charming way about him (if I can block out the bad parts about his character). And there are the few odd times I can see a certain attractiveness in his face even though it kind of disturbs me.
But with Scofield, Mahone, Sucre, and even dumb ol' Linc (I can't stand slow people that have no excuse for being slow but I give Linc a pass for whatever strange reason; maybe being related to Michael helps) running around looking cool and swell and whatever, Self looks really out of place.

Can't say that I'm surprised. As entertained I am by the preposterous twists and turns, the show has run its course. I hope the remaining episodes will wrap up the storyline in a satisfactory way.
Maybe T-Bag will finally get his comeuppance.

I kid, I kid. "A couple more [episodes] we're contemplating." WTF, dude. DO THEM. You at least owe your fans something wrapping it all up, after all the BS they've went through watching this damned show.
T-Bag's gotta at least end up dead or back in jail. (The latter would be so sweet. You know he doesn't have the brains to break out by himself.)

Eek! At first I thought that meant they wouldn't even air the remaining episodes! Phew! I'm perfectly OK with the show ending now. They've stretched it out way longer than anyone would have expected and there is nowhere left to go. And the actors are obviously itching to move on. About bloody time, yeah! Just don't kill off you-know-who. Pretty please? That's all I ask.  |

Malone and Sucre need to open a detective agency or something.
