Yeah, little LJ takes after his daddy, Linc -- do something rash and stupid first, and then think about it later. You know - after you get in trouble for it.
Good for Sucre for coming up with a plan and getting the job done. Even though it landed him in the SHU, he could have been much, much worse. And I laughed and laughed when T-Bag had to take one for the team. And I laughed when we discovered that even T-Bag has his standards.
And I will say that part of the reason why I can't totally get behind the pretty with Wentworth Miller is the staring. The staring freaks me out. The man can go for hours without blinking. I know he is doing it as part of the character, but still, freaks me out. However, he really used it to full effect last night. He played crazy/catatonic very well, and then in a blink he went right back to his normal expression when he spotted Haywire. I just wonder what the guards thought of their once catatonic prisoner suddenly talking to another inmate.

You know, I think that's really Wentworth with the non-blinking. There was an article about him a couple of years ago when The Human Stain came out and the writer even commented on the fact that he hardly ever blinks. But yeah, it really works for someone as freaky as Michael Scofield (who, let's face it, is one of TV's weirdest characters).

I didn't realize the staring was a Wentworth thing - I've only seen him in two other guest roles and both were creepy/intense characters so it worked, and yes, it really works well for Michael Scofield. I actually like that the "hero" of this story is actually a bit of a weirdo and he's trying to save his brother, who is hardly a saint (except when it comes to taking care of his little brother) and a bit of a lunk-head too.
The other thing on the "pretty" front - he looks much, MUCH better with the (slightly) longer hair he had in this past episode. I could definitely see the pretty there.
One thing that bothered me - when Veronica, Nick and LJ find Quinn's rotting corpse down in the well, what do they do? They send the traumatized teenager down to retrieve the phone. I can understand making Nick hold the rope since he is probably the strongest, but why not send lightweight Veronica down there? Yeah, yeah, I know they needed to send LJ down there so he could see the name on the wall and be a bonehead and get himself arrested, but it would have been nice to see Veronica volunteer to go down instead of the kid who saw his mother and stepfather gunned down, adding to his nightmares.

Oh, absolutely. Both brothers are not completely right in the head and Michael is definitely a weird "hero". That is one of the things I also love about this show. They never tried to portray Lincoln as an absolutely innocent man (also he liked to do that himself). It's like Nick said in an earlier episode: he is a criminal who happens to be in prison for the one crime he did not commit. I also find myself liking Lincoln more than in the eps before the break but I'm not sure if it's because I think that Dominic has improved or if it's because of Lincoln himself who is so stupid you just can't hate him (same with LJ). I mean, the guy has a beautiful brother who's a genius and really successful in his job. And he helped that little git without ever telling him (God, I loved Arrogant Michael in last week's episode! . Oh and Mr. Scofield himself with the tatoos, the fake diabetes, the getting-two-toes-cut- off-but-becoming-friends-with-the-one-who-did-it, the smashing his head into iron bars etc. Definitely crazy.

Haywire's back! Yay! I love that crazy, tattoo-obsessed freak.
LJ is too stupid for me to hate.
Sucre is a wise man and I liked his whole thing with T-bag.
As for Michael....yeah, the lingering stare bugs, although it was perfect for this episode, and with a little more hair, I can actually appreciate the pretty.

Looks like there's going to be a brief hiatus until it comes back for the big finish in May. Anyone know how long it's going to be gone? I know May is right around the corner and there's only one Monday left in April....

Monday is May 1st; there is no hiatus.
I would be so happy if they killed off that stupid doctor; I hate her so much.

Anyone else think that Michael told Tweener knowing that Tweener would tell Bellick? Wheels within wheels, cause he cannot be that dumb. How many people are in on the escape now, like 10?
