I am kinda shocked Zayra is still there. She blew vocally. It was awful IMO.

Chris sounded good for the first time but I will not miss him so no disappointment there.

Jill sounded amazing last night. That song totally suited her and I liked her sound better than the original.

Still bored by this show overall but I will stick it out I suppose. I do wish the reality show was still on tv. It took me almost 4 hours to view it because of all the buffering. Hopefully each week someone will post it on youtube because the MSN version sucks.

This show blows. Last night the judges got such a tongue bath from the rockers that they didn't even need to shower today.

This season in no way resembles the show that was on last year. The concept is totally wrong for trying to find a lead singer for a new band, and it's ruined the whole thing.

A lawyer representing Mark Burnett Productions dismissed the lawsuit as being without merit and said his client has a legal right to use the name.

I believe that's true. If I recall correctly, names cannot be copyrighted. Anyone could write a book and call it "Gone With the Wind," or form a band called "Beatles" ... the true question becomes, why would you want to? But you could.

I didn't watch Tuesday's show, but I wanted to punch everyone in the recap that bitched about "that was a bad song choice." If they keep that shit up, one of the "rockers" is going to go off at some point and be all "you gave us this crap!" There's only so much they can do when there are 14 people and 14 songs to pick from.

Based on what I saw last night, I could have handled a triple elimination. Terrible, all of 'em!

I'm still pissed off about them dissing Duran Duran. That was a perfectly reasonable choice for showcasing a person's voice. If it were me, I would have picked one of their songs that had less "bop-bop-bop"s, but that doesn't mean all Duran Duran is not Rock. Grrr!

Edited to add: I guess we know why Dave and Carman are dunzo. I'd like a nice big bowl of bleach to dip my brain in now, thank you.

That Zayra girl sucks. I can't believe the judges dig her that much. But then, I think they're reacting more to the the lighting behind her dress. This show is so bad. And so watchable.

What really cracks me up is the rocker pose the girls all take (standing, legs spread wide) staring at the camera. Who are these people?

magho, ITA...they're going for the stereotype "rock chick" look, which means they're choosing style over substance. I think all the women sucked tonight except Dilana (sp?) who is growing on me. She at least seems genuine, if a little scary, and I'm kind of digging her gravely voice. I really liked Ring of Fire last week.

The guys were rubbish and that little eyeliner boy Lukas is the most obnoxious of them all. MrOxynia reminded me once again why I married him when he casually pointed out that Lukas seems to be missing a neck. This show is annoying but I couldn't help watching tonight. I think I may need help.

blah blah blah performances tonight. I only voted for To(stop shaving the chest!)by because he's hot... if he would stop shaving his chest. Otherwise, the Internet sparkly stuff was much more interesting.

Yeah, it's just not the same as it was last year.

Lukas can't win this thing, he's so butt ugly and obnoxious that he makes me want to reach into the tv screen and punch him in the face. I'm guesing that's not the reaction they want, because it won't sell music.
