So? who watched? I liked it and will watch again next week. Not sure how this will play out for an entire season though. However, I said that about "Lost" too. What do I know?

I loved it and think it matches up very well with "Lost". I share your concerns about how they are going to get an entire season (let alone two or three) out of this premise, but I read somewhere that the whole season will only cover about eight weeks in the characters' lives so it may be possible. Looking forward to next week.

I like the show too and I especially like that it comes on right after "Lost".

Perhaps I'm alone in this.... but perhaps not, since no one is posting here! But I wasn completely not impressed. I didn't think it was particularly well done in terms of shots or pacing. We get it... the little girl is out in the rain and it's dangerous and how many shrieks of "Caaarleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetaaaaaaa" do we need to remind us she's looking for the cat??
Also don't get why everyone is related to everyone else. (Because the writers were to lazy to come up with interactions without family ties?) Or why everyone, including the little girl, has radios. It's just odd.
Now that we're three eps in or so.... anyone still watching?

I love the show. I stopped watching Lost a long time ago--just lost interest in the plot. But I find Invasion far more involving.

Anyone else out there watch this show? It started out being pretty boring, but has gotten much better the last couple of episodes. If you started watching it and gave up on it, then you should give it another try.

I watch Invasion and think it's pretty good. Lost is painfully slow and boring at times so I tape that show to watch with Fast Forward.
The writers might have made everyone related to justify the constant interaction required between the two families. Otherwise, how much would Cibrian's character need to talk to the Sheriff anyway?
A friend who lives in California also shared a tidbit that's interesting. The hospital they use in the show is an actual hospital in/near L.A. which was closed not long ago.
What I'd like know if anyone in Florida really lives the way Cibrian's family does? It seems they're in a filthy shack in a swamp. I can't imagine how people with half-decent jobs can live like that.
Note: I cannot remember the names of the characters because the darn show has been off for weeks. Ugh.

There are so many reasons, well two, that I should love this show. It
a) stars the delicious William Fichtner and
b) is from Sean Cassidy, who brought us one of my all time favorite series 'American Gothic' and it has similar themes, ie, sexy-evil sherriff in a small town.
But I just can't get into it. Still watching. Still hoping.

Having lived in South Florida, it is possible they live like that. I think Eddie's character WANTS to be out in the swamp. He talked about that in one of the earlier episodes. Notice The Fitch lives well, in fact, his house is rather amazing with the secret rooms and such.
