Martin Scorsese's documentary on Bob Dylan airing on PBS tonight and tomorrow. Anyone else watching?
There's a lot more of the Dylan interview than I was led to believe from the advance reviews. He does sound like a crotchety grandpa sometimes, though, as Slate noted: it was "rightly cold" in Minnesota. "We didn't have the clothes then that they do now." Yes, Grandpa, tell us the story of smoking reefer with the Beatles again!
And did I miss it, but who was the pissed drunk Irish guy in the bar and why was he important?
