I thought for sure Fabio was going home, even though I love him. Overall I prefer Fabio as a designer, but his dress really was a lot worse than Gunnar's. I also want to know how that godawful suit with the peplum and the back cutout was safe! That was worse than both of them. I completely missed Michelle's season. Is there a reason the TWOP Previously TV posters talk about her like she shot their dog? Or is it just the usual TWOP woman-hate rearing its head? They seem to particularly hate that she calls Dmitry by a diminutive, so I'm definitely thinking there is some jealousy there. Either way, I really liked her top. Bottom was a little messy, but the top was really cool.

Whoa - You weren't kidding about the suit with the peplum! That was spectacularly awful and far more offensive than Justin's dress. Then she added insult to injury with her voice over about how she thought she might even win and that Alyssa would look really great in the outfit.
Was Fabio's fabric really denim? I missed a little bit of the show. His styling was a bad joke, right? He wasn't really serious about that shit.
I absolutely want to hang out with Isaac - he seems like he would be a blast.

I had no clue a new season was starting until it showed up on my DVR. Guess it started last night.
How old were these designers when the first season was on? And/or how many times have some of them tried out and been rejected already?

I had no clue either, until a friend posted on facebook that she was skipping the debate to watch. I immediately switched. Tim Gunn versus The Donald is no contest whatsoever.

I haven't finished the official season premiere yet, but I have no trouble understanding the self named "pistachio" why are they subtitling her? Which makes me think, how is it not offensive when shows subtitle heavy accents? If people have an issue they can turn on closed captioning.

I was pleasantly surprised to see PR back. However, this season should have the theme, "last picks after 14 seasons" Besides the heavy girl with purple hair, (liked her outfit!) everyone seemed weirder than merely "artsy" and not so swift in the sewing and pattern making department. The ever diplomatic Tim Gunn even seemed very irritated with the cluelessness of this group. Really? No one brought any tools? It looks like they left their talent and craftsmanship at home too. That lady, "Murlene? " looks like some dotty old southern church lady from the '40s. She never takes off the goofy hat even under sewing stress. But she "sings." (stop that please!) Tiny Asian girl who looks like the fashion designer in "The Incredibles" really can't tell that what she designed would be hideous on someone five times the size? And zero sense of humor or ability to take criticism. Is PR going for hate watching now?

Although I'll watch, I don't think this show should still be on. They're scraping the bottom of the barrel at this point. That one guy has been auditioning and rejected every other season since #1!?
I have a friend that's very involved the fashion world as a buyer at Nordstrom corporate and a designer herself with limited lines at Nordstrom. She told me in 2011 that project runway was kind of a joke in the fashion world. And the show itself has only gotten worse since then.

I can't imagine who is left to be on the All-Stars season.

I don't know what the bottom of that dress was made of, but I really did "WOW!" out loud when I saw it. Too bad, though, that they should have given 2 wins to Edmond and Swapnil (sp?) because that was gorgeous and adorable and Spring fashion-sonified.

Yeah, Edmond's dress really was pretty wow, but Swapnil's looked like something I'd like to see made with actual fabric and turned into a real outfit. I thought it was pretty spectacular.
I get why David went home, but I don't get why the guy with the glitter dress was in the top and not in the bottom. I don't care if there was stuff from the cards on the back lining, that dress was pure muslin with some small bits of cardstock glued on. The rest was paint and glitter. Sure, it looked nice, but David's looked pretty interesting, too and if anything, I give his lettering placement throughout more credit. If they're going to ding David and the girl who won last week for using too much muslin, then there's no way they should have put the other guy in the top. There were a couple of other outfits in the safe pile that should have been in the top and in the same way, there were others that were much worse, I thought than the girl who was in the bottom.
