I'm happy for Geoffrey. I think he'll really use that mentorship to the fullest. I actually really enjoyed Victoria's collection and her 2hr dress was really the best thing I've seen from her on the show. Did Sergio propose? I couldn't watch him so I left the room to get a drink. Really just hijacking the moment from everyone. Typical.

Victoria's 2 hr dress was really fabulous, and I feel like it was the first time she really took any criticism to heart and acted on it. I still loved her pleated cropped pants and the baseball caps, but overall I felt like most of her collection was just a slightly different take on stuff I could already find in stores, if that makes sense.
Sergio's collection was beautiful and exquisitely crafted, but the 'frozen in time' critique seemed to nail how I felt about it. I wish he hadn't used the fringe on anything other than that cocktail dress, though.
Nancy's dresses, while lacking 'tailoring' as the judges pointed out, seemed like they really did a woman's body a ton of favors. Those liquid looking fabrics were all kinds of cool and fascinating to watch. Overall, her collection felt like the one I would most like to shop from. It was interesting and beautiful yet approachable. I think that means it is commercial but not necessary 'high fashion'
Geofrey's was art. I don't really get it, but it looked great. The brocade (minty green and cream and sheer) was gorgeous and his fabric choices were cool as hell but I can't see myself ever wearing anything. I liked that Nina explained that as the collection being a sort of jumping off point - that the looks aren't necessarily intended to be worn that way off the runway. Reminds me a little bit of Jay in Season 1.

Finally watched the finale. Geoffrey's collection did look a lot better after he made some edits. Still not my favorite, but I'm thrilled for him!
And, credit where credit is due, I loved Victoria's 2 hour dress. That was fabulous! And Nancy's materials were gorgeous. And Sergio...well, congrats on the engagement.
