I wasn't able to watch when I was on holiday but caught up. I'm sorry to see Alan go, he was quirky and sweet and I'll miss him on the show. Christian obviously didn't like him with his digging remarks but I hope that he does well off the show. I don't know what's going on with Sergio and Christian but they DEFINITELY do not like each other. Sergio is just all ego, ugh. Tyler's comeback was sharp and Karlie's face said it all. He should have owned it and not back pedaled it, his look was bad though.
addison I agree about the harshness of this season.

And the 'don't bore Nina' rule claims another victim...
I'll miss Shavi. He seemed like a really neat guy but I realized I spent a lot of time each week hoping he could work it out 'this time' so maybe it was time.
I freaking love Chelsea's seemingly endless supply of glasses!

I liked Shavi, too. He seemed very sweet, and I loved his story from a couple weeks ago about how his grandmother taught him how to sew, but she had since been diagnosed with dementia and didn't remember that, so he held those memories even closer.
The time for Sergio and/or Brittany to get smackdown cannot come soon enough. Both too smug for their own good, especially the former.

I'm glad Victoria was in the bottom this time. I agreed with what Elaine said about her only designing in her small box. If she's not going to at least attempt the challenges she shouldn't be there. Sergio needs to go soon. Sorry to see Shavi go.

I really, really hate the episodes where it looks like all the other judges are leaning toward sending one designer home, and then Nina peddles some crap to justify keeping that person.
Victoria has, as Christian pointed out, designed the same damn look every week. If she couldn't come back from her tantrum tn create the same dress she's already made... and 'I didn't understand what 'sheer' meant. One of the other designers explained it when the challenge was read and I'm pretty darned sure Christian was trying to help her at Mood.
Sorry, but she BUGS. Chelsey has taken some chances, designed an assortment of looks and managed to be pleasant and upbeat about it. She's taken criticism graciously too.

I thought Sergio was insufferable, but at least he turns out goods designs. Victoria...ugh! And you won’t ever convince me she didn’t know what sheer meant after numerous explanations. She just didn’t want to do it.

For some reason, Victoria’s attitude and comments on the runway reminded me of Season 1 when one of the designers – when her team was in the bottom of in a group challenge – was asked who should go home. She sort of flippantly responded that she should go home because she was the worst sewer. And the judge just sent her home with the rationale that she admitted she was the worst so she didn’t need to be there. Following that logic, I think they should’ve booted Victoria since she said she didn’t want to do it. She couldn’t do it. If you’re on a design competition and you don’t understand with the word sheer means after seeing it having explained to you multiple times, then you should go.

I don't like Sergio but he deserved the win there. I wish they had booted Victoria instead of Chelsey. I also think if Chelsey had stayed with her baby doll look she would still be on. I do know that in the next challenge Victoria will produce the same outfit she has every other challenge so maybe this time they'll kick her off.

I'm not so sure they will boot Victoria for making the same outfit over and over. I'm re-watching one of the All-Stars seasons and one of the women has made the same thing over and over, been told that she needs to stop making the same thing over and over, then was complimented to high heaven for making the same thing. Side note- I got the feeling that whoever was styling Alyssa Milano was mad at her for a while. There was some really rough looking hair and makeup looks, and some of her wardrobe was hideous.

I agree that Victoria should have gone home. I don’t believe that she didn’t understand the word sheer. I just think that she didn’t want to abide by the guidelines of the challenge. Similarly, last week, she didn’t want to showcase her floral fabric and that was the whole point of the challenge. She just wants to do her own thing and keep churning out the same look. I admit that I liked it the first few times but, now, it’s just boring.
