There's a series currently airing on The Science Channel called, "An Idiot Abroard". Anyone else see it? It's produced by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant and stars the hapless Karl Pilkington who Ricky and Stephen send to see the Seven Wonders. On the first episode, he goes to China and experiences all sorts of horrors (mostly food related) that turn out to be incredibly hysterical. I agree that this show is hysterical. When he was getting that flaming "massage?" I was dying. The hell was that?! Loved when he was screaming, "No! This leg is good!") I nearly fell out when he was on the bus, traveling to the Great Wall (errr...the "Alright Wall") and the lady next to him kept spitting into a bag and then she pulled the curtain so he couldn't look out the window anymore. His facial expressions are priceless! And based on that episode alone, I have no desire to ever go to China.

I have no idea what was going on there. I think I'll give China a pass too after that episode.

Tom and Lorenzo have their fashion goggles focused on Downton Abbey's costumes, bless them. I love Everything about DA, including those fantabulous clothes.

I wish they had said more too, but those pictures are pure historical costume porn.
I especially love the harem pants that the youngest daughter had made, and the cute way she's posing to show them off... Adorable!

Is anyone watching the new season of Being Human? I'm going to wait until the season is over and then watch it all at once. Gotta find out what happens with Annie! (and to see her wonderful cardigan, which I covet)

The funny thing is that a lot of the costumes are recycled from other dramas. Recycled Movie Costumes[/color] And I have to say, it was quite interesting to see the various gorgeous clothing being re-used, like how The Tudors had a predominantly 'borrowed' wardrobe.

Iirc sometime in April. It will be a split season, with 7 episodes airing leading up to a mid-season cliffhanger, then the final 6 episodes will air on the autumn.

I'm very much enjoying S3 of Being Human. And, wonder of wonders, not hating the US version. Maybe because it's filmed in Montreal?
