Moana's family was scary and rude. I love how her dad is completely unwelcoming, rude and cold and then asks him "Are you Christian?" Um, are you? Because you're not acting like it. And then the stepmom is like "I believe in the sanctity of families and marriage" Dude, you married a divorced man. Not that I personally believe there's anything wrong with it but I find it odd that this woman is all "Blah blah! Purity of family, importance of a family, you're making a mockery of marriage!".
I can't believe he still kept Moana after that. I would never want to be near those people ever again.
I thought TN Sarah was actually the most normal last night. Yes, she's pageanty but I like her. Last night I got a distinct feeling that he has picked her already in his head and they added the "I might move to the mountains" thing as an area of conflict because otherwise the visit would have been too boring.

I agree with you about TN Sarah. But I have to say - overall, the girls he's kept this season are horrible. He never should have gotten rid of Cole.
My take on Moana and her family is that her parents were totally against her going on the show from the get go. Their bitterness towards Travis was actually inspired by their anger at the show and being forced to open up their home to a TV show they don't care for. They couldn't be that cruel to her for what they saw as a stupid decision, so they took it out on him instead. And i think he's kept her for the past two episodes based on her tears alone. She's created such a "I can't live without you" story for him that he feels like he's some kind of super hero who has to be in her life to save her. She'll make it to the final 2 and then be dumped.

That's exactly what I said! I have no issue with divorce, religion, whatever but talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Damn.
The three of us at my place were surprised he didn't keep Sarah Canada last night. He seemed to have such a crush on her or find her really cute. The whole age and different stages in life explanation is completely valid though. I was still hoping she'd make it to next week.

I think the attraction to Sarah Canada was edited to be there. And to a degree, I think the non-attraction to Sarah Tennessee is being edited to appear that way, much like there didn't seem to be all that much between Charlie and the nurse chick on the last bachelor until he chose her.
I think he chose Sarah TN because she makes the most sense for him - she's the kind of personality who can play the doctor's wife the best, and geographically she's got an advantage.
I think he chose Moana because as I said earlier, the "YOu complete me" vibe she keeps on crying to him is a stroke to his ego.
And I think he chose the actress chick because she's the most beautiful of the three. Sarah Canada had nothing more to offer anymore ... plus she was a little kid who lived with her mom in his eyes. How would that fit in to his life?

I don't think a stepmom doesn't have the right to talk about sanctity of marriage. If he was a married man when she was dating him, then married him, that would be different. Marrying a guy who is divorced doesn't make you less of a person or morally wrong. Just have to inject that here. And I actually agree with her and am glad that one of the families on the show FINALLY said something like that. The dad was too rude though. Whatever his frustrations about his daughter being on the show shouldn't be taken out on the guy.
I'm shocked that he kept the actress there. I hated their segment together. It looked like she was saying some scripted stuff and she couldn't really remember her lines. She had to pause a lot when she talked to him and it seemed like she was trying to give the camera her best angles all the time. I loved how her dad called her out on it. And her mom nudging him that it might not be all real was really great. Seriously, out of all the girls there, she's the least genuine.
I don't really have a problem with Moana, but I don't think she and Travis have a lot in common other than physical attraction. The crying bit was too much. Talk about overkill.
I'm a huge Sarah from TN fan. I don't know if it's the editing or what, but she seems like the nicest person of all the girls. I like seeing the nice ones win on shows like these.
And seriously, Sarah from Canada, freaking. move. out. of. your. parent's. home. Enough said.

And then there were two. Moana and Sarah. Susan was such a little phoney the whole time I wasn't really surprised at all when she got the boot tonight. That was obvious when she told him she loved him, he gulped and then said "Thank you!" Not a good sign.
At this point though, I don't think he has chemistry with either of them. Well, scratch that, he seems to have a lot in common with Sarah but no passion and with Moana I feel like it's all lust but no substance.
I did enjoy the flashbacks and follow-ups. I was surprised to see Charlie is still with Boring Nurse. Really surprised. I never watched the Byrons season because he skeeved me out. I can't believe that Mandy Jaye is STILL pissed about Trish crashing her date. Dude, it was obviously arranged by producers. Let. It. Go. If you want to be angry at anyone, be angry at them.
I never watched the first season so I enjoyed seeing that girl get insulted by the concept of an overnight date. Very cool. She'd only been alone with the guy once or twice and he wants to spend the night with her and she's smart enough to find that skeevy. Was she cool on the show?

I was shocked that Susan was on as long as she was. If I were a guy and some mother was telling me that her daughter wasn't ready for it, I wouldn't have stuck around. And I was so turned off by her language. She had such a potty mouth which was so unattractive. But I totally didn't buy that she wasn't there for exposure because she totally was. She kept turning her body and giving the camera her best shot everytime.
I agree with your assessment on both Moana and Sarah. Out of the two of them, I can see him picking Sarah because there's more of a chance for a furture. With Moana, it seems more like passing physical interest.

I think he's going to pick Sarah. I think they'll be together for a bit, and split up by June at the latest.
The more I think about it, the more I think that in recent weeks, Travis has been cutting the one he needed to the most, rather than struggling to come up with someone to cut. ie - Last week he probably was ready to cut Susan and Sarah from Canada, but was only allowed to cut one. Honestly, I think it's probably like that in a lot of seasons. If you truly find a match on the show, then there HAS to come a time where the person says "Okay, I know at this point that Jen/Ryan/Mary/Sarah the nurse is the one for me. Why keep going through the charade". I don't believe the crap about each one truly being drawn to multiple people until the very end.
On Mandy Jaye - don't you think some of her outrage and anger was just as producer created as was Trish's original crash? I was glad that she said that Jesse's willingness to go talk to her made her realize he wasn't the guy for her.

From this guy's opinion, it's Moana.

From this girl's opinion, it's Moana.
Somehow the way he looks at her, I get the sense he's already made up his mind. And I don't know that it's entirely physical. I think he senses a connection that doesn't exist with the others, and the schoolteacher seems more like a friend to him than a romantic interest.
I only stumbled on this show a few weeks ago so don't have a lot of backstory. That's just my opinion of the final two.
