I looked for a thread and didn't see one. Is anyone watching this show? I saw all the episodes in the past day (because I'm pathetic) and I think it's just excellent. I really love Mary Louise Parker, and the rest of the cast as well. I think it's very clever and well written, and I never fail to laugh. Can't wait for the next season!

I watched it during the regular season and really enjoyed it. The entire cast is awesome and Mary Louise Parker is teh hot and great in the role. However, I did not like how Showtime ended the season at all with no warning

I might finally have to breakdown and get Showtime so I can see this show. It sounds really interesting, and it uses great music, from what I've heard. Age Pryor's song Singing in My Soul -- quite possibly one of the most charming songs ever -- was used in an episode, as was Tuk Tuk -- a great funky jam -- by The Black Seeds. I'd watch just to see these two great songs and artists get some exposure.

Yes. I ab-so-lutely love this show. I kind of felt the shark circling when they introduced Peter and then Nancy married him, I feel like the writers didn't really know what to do with him so they killed him off, and I'm glad they did.
I think it was more sweet the first season and the second season is a bit more unnerving. Seeing Shane turn from an odd little kid into a rebel adolescent has been pretty cool though. Silas has turned into kind of a little prick, but I can see where he deserves some sympathy. I wonder if they'll bring Quinn back from Mexico?
I have an absurd love for Celia. I think if I had kids, I would end up like her. I loved that she put her cigarette out onto Doug's hand without changing her facial expression. Elizabeth Perkins is awesome in this role.
I have a huge crush on Andy.
The Doug and Dean cat fight was wonderful!
Yes, yes. One of the best shows on television I think.

I always forget this is on. I will have to check Showtime On Demand and see if they have all of this seasons episodes up.
And I agree that Elizabeth Perkins is amazing in this. She never failed to crack me up in the first season. Matter of fact I like Elizabeth in pretty much everything I have seen her in. A very underrated actress IMO.

I liked it better last season. This season it's losing me sometimes. I'm still watching though. Heard the cliffhanger is awesome.

Does anyone plan on watching the new season come summer? I can't wait! This is one of my favorite shows - I love everyone in their role, especially Celia. The scene where she burns Doug with her cigarette is one of my favorite scenes ever. And the cliffhanger for the season closer was great, I can't wait to see where they go next!

I recently read that MLP is going to be a secretary ("until she discovers that she doesn't bring in as much money as she used to" - well, no shit) and that one of the Olsen twins is going to be Silas' "religious" girlfriendin the upcoming season. I also read that the new season doesn't start until August. That's ass.

Well I would, except asshatty Comcast won't let you turn on a movie channel like HBO or Showtime unless you upgrade to digital cable, and I refuse to do that on principle. I'm already paying $56 a month for what I consider basic cable. Bastards!
I loved this show first season- I'm eagerly awaiting the second season on DVD so I can see what happened.
