Heh, I was marveling at how it took her only four years to go from selling weed in a sleepy suburban neighborhood to being knocked up and sentenced to death by the head of the Mexican mafia. Way to go, Nanc! I have a big 'ol crush on Andy. Yeah, I was watching Season 1 last night--and I miss it. I miss Agrestic. It was funny to watch her balance these two opposing worlds very badly.

I think Guiliermo will be back next episode, Nancy pays him a jailhouse visit. I also have a lot love for him since his genius turn in Half Baked. "I don't know why but I believe him" never fails to make me smile I haven't seen that movie in forever, but 90% of his lines/delivery/scenes would make me laugh so hard I'd have tears at the corners of my eyes. Plus, he was really cute back then.

Last night's episode sucked. The only part I enjoyed was the Korean ladies subtitles in the nail salon, and Guillermo and Nancy's scene. She has the best chemistry with him. Other than that, wow, rough sex, wow, finding pot growers and they just let you go. Whatever. Ok, and Celia's last little bit of dialogue was freaking fantastic, that choked me up. God, she is such a good actress.

Woah! The quirky antics of Agrestic have given way to some real dark shit, no? Nancy's exchange with Guillermo was pretty scary, he called her out! That whole your stupid cuz you aint got no ring speech had her shook. I love the show as a humorous peek into the the suburban drug culture. All this menacing and Nancy's spiral out of control smacks of a cautionary tale and its killing the buzz I like to get on before watching. Damn if I wanted a buzz kill cautionary tale about the dangers of drugs I'd call my mom. On a side note F-loving Jennifer Jason Leigh!!!!

LOVE Jennifer Jason Leigh - she did a fantastic job picking up just a few of Nancy's mannerisms - seemed like she could've easily been her sister despite the difference in their looks.
LOVE Guillermo - Nancy and he do have the best chemistry, and I'd like to see more of him this season.
Liked Celia. She's always awesome in whatever scenario they put her in.
Not interested in the escalating Mexican mafia scenario, nor her rough sex scenes with whatshisface. Makes the show too dramatic, and I'd like it to stay more of an edgy comedy.

It seems like the whole series has turned into an anti-drug advertisement. "Look at our zany Nancy, her husband dies and now she has to sell weed! Uh oh, Nancy's digging herself deeper and deeper into the drug mess. Now Nancy's running a storefront where they traffic people, smuggle guns and drugs that she didn't want around. Aw, man. Now she's knocked up by the big bad of the Mexican mafia!" I still miss Conrad.

I don't know if that's anti-drug so much as anti-Nancy since she does indeed ruin everything she touches.
Celia as the leader/organizer behind a group of armed revolutionaries? Oh hell yes.
I don't think I'm going to be able to take the combined hotness of Andy & Silas. The former has the most adorable mannerisms & timing and the latter is just pure twink beefcake.
Shane's growth spurt was hella distracting.

Wow, I haven't watch every episode of Weeds. I just started last season, and I missed one or two episodes of that.
With that sad, I must restate that I think it was a bad move to move Nancy out of the suburbs. I thought it changed the premise of the show, which was a suburban mother selling weed.
Once you take her out of the burbs, she is a typical woman selling weed.

I could see them maybe trying to squeeze her back into a new community somewhere... I mean, unless she goes to prison, where else can they take her? The family interactions are the best, but the location is really a big part of this too. I guess she could go on the run from the Mayor. I'd love to see Guillermo back in action (crooked cops, dismissed charges).

I don't want them to squeeze her in anywhere. I hope they cut the cord after this season. The only way I can see it is what other people have said, with Celia and those cool dudes taking someone important to the Big Bad, and bringing him down. I don't know. As bad as Celia is, she's so awesome, and I would love to see her get hers.
