I used to work in the same building as the SciFi Networks' corporate offices. My colleagues had to hold me back from running onto their floor screaming, "Why did you cancel this show!"

The only episode I cannot sit through is that black and white Hamlet - the movie itself is so horrible not even their snark can save it.,

I think every other movie in my Netflix queue is a MST3K movie. I really miss this show so much and wish IFC or someone would pay them to bring it back and rag on some new movies.

I love this show. Actually saw the movie in the theater, and I've still got the Servo and Crow magnets my roommate in college gave me on my fridge. And yes, I'm a dork.

When they did the final episode, Diabolik, the editors snuck in a scene of clips of the "greatest hits" from their past movies. The guys basically just laugh through it:

It has all the greatest hits, including Rosdawer, the Mitchell scene with the kid, Ware-wolf, "I had a pretty mind!" etc.

I don't want to be the one to bring up the "Joel vs. Mike" debate, but I have to say that for a long time I was very firmly in the Mike camp and didn't see the appeal of Joel at all. Thanks to YouTube I've gotten to see a lot of earlier episodes, so now Joel's humor has grown on me and I like him. Of course, I'm still a bigger Mike fan, since he's the host I first got to see on MST3K. Joel seems to have more of a laid back, stoner-older-brother type of humor, and Mike seems more physcial and goofy.

My dad thinks the show is so stupid, but you have to well versed in a LOT of cultural aspects to get the humor. The references they throw out there are all over the place, and really esoteric a lot of the time.

Of course, that's why I love the show.

ETA: I also started watching the old shorts on YouTube, and my god, "Mr. B Natural" nearly gave me a seizure.

Do NOT get me started! HubNoir and I are the staff sponsors of weekly showings of MST3K at the university where we work. We own many, many episodes (most home-recorded) and our daily conversation is peppered with MSTisms.
Fave host: Mike.
Fave eps: "Horror of Party Beach," "Leech Woman," "The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies," (yeah, that's the real title!) "Final Sacrifice," and on and on and onnnn.
For me, though, the best of all are the shorts. "NOOOO SPRINGSSSS! <bbooiingggg!>" "It's not a trumpet... it's the mood of a happy king!" "Will she smoke thin black cigarettes and reject the triune god?"
