I think that, just maybe, Dave got screwed tonight.
And not in a good way.

I agree.
Let me see if I have this right: they fire Lee Ann because they couldn't consider her performance as a whole, she lost the Napa task and the outcome depends solely on winning the task in question; but they don't fire Tiffani because they *did* consider her performance as a whole, even though she didn't win a single one of the 3 challenges tonight......
Umm... yeah. Okay.... Such a shining example of consistency and fairness. <snort>

WTF???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TIFFANY!!??
Excuse me, but that hit me like a brick, I was not expecting that. Tiffany is not a better chef and they ousted Dave on a technicality? Is this who cooks better or not?

Was there even a technicality though? It seemed to me that they just made their minds up ahead of time and went with it regardless of actual outcome. I don't think they ever expected Dave to even win one of the challenges.
As I see it: Harold 2 Dave 1 Tiffani 0 ======= Harold & Dave
They had NO business considering Tiffani's performance as a whole because that went against the rules as stated by Tom Colichio when Lee Anne was ousted. (See the blog stuff I posted at the time.)
I'm so annoyed. Tiffani is a stronger chef than Dave (IMO, and as a whole) but if they had that rule and ousted Lee Anne because of it, then they should have ousted Tiffani tonight.

Tonight's episode goes a long way toward explaining Dave's attitude during the reunion (if, as I have read in a few places, the reunion was filmed after the finale),

I echo the calling B.S. on that desicion. They're reairing the reunion ep right now. It'll be interesting to watch it seeing what happened to Dave.

Even though I think that Tiffany is a better chef overall, it sure does seem like she once again got preferential treatment so they could have some drama in the final.
If she beats out Harold, I hope her restaurant tanks. Based on the reunion, I think she did sabotage other people ('unfamiliar ovens' my ASS), and in my book, no amount of skill can override the fact that she's a friggin' back stabber. Plus I can't stand how they rewarded her mediocrity in the quickfire challenge.
Maybe Dave's 'incomplete' cancelled out his one win? I guess we have an explanation now why he said the final quickfire was an effin' nightmare in the bonus video.

I'm rewatching the Reunion show too and on a completely tangential look, is Brian Hill wearing a ton of makeup or what??! He looks so different than when he was on the show. He's got the most feminine over-plucked eyebrows and huge pancake on his face.
Speaking of Tiffani, she came across even worse on a 2nd viewing during the "I'm not your bitch, bitch" t-shirt incident. This time I saw things I didn't notice the first time like *how* quickly she leapt for it. When she wouldn't give it back, it was the first time I'd seen the BillyJoel Bot show clear emotion. She was not only pissed and glared but actually tried to grab it back. And Tiffani kept saying, "I want that", "that's for me." When the Bot said, "Tiffani, it's for Dave", she came up with some lame ass response of how she would model it. Ugh.
When you guys mention unedited portions of the show or bonus video, is that available on the Bravo website? The last time I looked, I couldn't find anything like that.

I think the unaired stuff is found under the 2 weeks of Top Chef thing on the Top Chef page.
I kind of wished Dave would of lied and said he had a 3rd dish he didn't have time to complete, but that is so against his character to do something like that. I guess I can see why he was voted off, he did leave off an entire order on the last plate and that is a bigger no no than having not too great food. Still I wish it would of been Tiffani gone, granted Harold would of wiped the floor with Dave, well anyone except Leeann who might stand a chance.
What was Tiffani's deal with the other 3 who judged the high rollers plates? I caught bits and pieces of it, but she seemed pretty irked that the losers were critiquing her food.

I don't feel Tiffani as better than Dave. The reason being is her stuff may be more sophisticated and have better presentation, but the actual taste of her food has not been great. In many of the challenges the taste of her food was not on par with the rest. The judge's decision I really don't get.
