I’d almost be curious to go back and watch Padma at the beginning of season 2 because I’m sure there was a huge change in how she came across on camera from then until the final season. I’m sure Kristen will loosen up as the season progresses but I thought she did a great job.

Kish did a better job on “Dish with Kish”, the digital-only episode review with guests (Stephanie Izard cooks with Kish this time). Going from “these people can make or break me” to “I am one of these people” has got to be a bit of a mind flip.
I was a little startled seeing Tom and Gail doing talking heads like the contestants do.

I thought she was fine. What I could do without is more Gail, she's always bugged me.

I liked Kristen telling the non-James Beard winners and/or Michelin star restaurant chefs that she was neither of those and she won.

So Hat Guy wasn’t on Last Chance Kitchen with New Contestant Soo. There has to be a story there.

The only thing I was able to find on the googling I did was that he commented on his social media that he "was not allowed" to participate in LCK, but said he could not say anymore due to the NDA he had to sign.

I'm enjoying the season so far, and I think Kristen is doing a good job. It was nice to see Joe Flamm on the last episode.

Ooooh, drama! Yeah, HG was super creepy, so I'm gonna assume he did something inappropriate.

And second episode in and Tom's already in mid-season cranky form! It's gonna be a good year!

Yeah I have absolutely no evidence of this but it wouldn't surprise me at all if he turned out to be one of those people who are super touchy feely and hide behind the guise of being goofy and loveable when it's actually thinly veiled sexual harassment. That's what got John Lasseter fired from Pixar.

So did anyone catch the latest episode of Last Chance Kitchen where the latest eliminated cheftestant declined to participate? Tom’s response was good, but his reaction after - like “do we have an episode or not?”. It looked genuine to me.
