If anyone deserves to rant, it's him. He was taken up, dumped and then ordered away with a pittance once Ben came along. Then she flaunts her true love all over the place and repeatedly treats Ben like dirt, spends his and her money like water, and then throws diva fits while Ben looks like a whipped fool in front of the entire entertainment world. No wonder Al Qaida wants to hit out at us.

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I don't think Violet is cute.

When I saw her in the restaurant pic, it melted my heart. The two of them looking down at something just made all my maternal feelings shoot out. If she has Jen's looks and Ben's charm, she'll get away with anything.

Violet is not cute in the perfect "Gerber Baby" way (almost typed Garber!) But I think she is adorable in a happy, well-cared-for and obviously loved kind of way.

Hehe, Ben, Johnny Depp, Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Wahlberg and I can't remember who else has acted assholish during their 20s will always be given a pass from the public for their.big.transformation because they are men. I am no Julia Roberts fan, but I haven't heard a single episode of her being nasty to others in these last years and yet, her past will always catch up with her because she is a woman and she's not allowed to grow up and change.I mean, Julia may still be a beyotch to boot, but most comments I read are more quick to assume that Ben has changed completely ever since he settled down and had a baby but Julia can't. I don't remember them being that differeny before.

Yeah, I love Bennifer 2.0 - my favorite celeb couple actually. Love seeing pics of them.

And Violet is adorable. I've always liked Ben - he seems like a great dad.

Here's an article/response Ben wrote about Hollywood and politics. He makes both good and bad points. But the part in the end really annoyed me. I think Hollywood has done a very shitty job in representing honest depictions of various cultures. Both racism and misogyny seem pretty rampant in Hollywood, but Ben wants to pretend they're "good liberals."

Variety asked three politically active people in Hollywood to respond; Ben Affleck, Warren Beatty and Lionel Chetwynd. I thought Chetwynd's response was the best, although I have no idea who he is.

Going on the assumption that this is a valid comparison (I'm not sure it is), Julia Robert has always been accused of being extremely nasty, vindictive and cruel to people, especially "little people". Just because there haven't been very many publicized incidents in the past few years (the last I heard was from 2002 when an actor on Mona Lisa Smile said she had an irrational hatred for him, treated him like shit, and yelled at him in front of everyone for no reason), I don't see any reason why those qualities would have gone away. What incentive has she had to grow and change after being a beeyotch for 10+ years? And what evidence is there that she's done this?

Ben's foibles have always been linked to immaturity, irresponsibility, stupidity, and weakness, and those qualities do get better when one ages, matures, and does a little work on them. I don't know how much Ben has progressed--when he was on The Daily Show, he said he'd made an effort to keep his life out of the press for the past few years (he's learned something!) then instantly turned around and said his JLO overexposure was the press' fault because they were landing on his lawn in helicopters when he was innocently at home eating a burrito (he's learned nothing!). But for a guy who previously got himself into a very ill-advised engagement and then freaked out and passive-aggressively weaseled his way out of it, the fact that he picked a relatively solid partner and actually went through with the marriage and family commitment, those are good signs.

New old video of Ben acting strange with a reporter sitting on his lap.Here's the story.

BEN AFFLECK has outraged his fans after footage of him emerged making fun of people with cerebral palsy.

In the video the actor, who appears drunk, also gropes a pretty interviewer and asks her if she has a boyfriend.

The clip has been doing the rounds on the web and you can see it by clicking here.

It was shot around the promo activity for his panned film Jersey Girl but has only emerged now.

In it he grabs the young female interviewer and cuddles her on his lap before telling her that he is intoxicated by her perfume.

He then tells her she should carry out the interview topless.

Later on he gropes her boobs, asking her if they are real.

But he goes even further when he makes an offensive remark about people with cerebral palsy.
