It's a gritty, frightening look into the good cops/bad cops + the criminal element in LA. The Barn holds some of the best actors on TV.
Last year, Aceveda became a councilman and Glenn Close took over with little success at cleaning up the corruption of the Strike Force.
This year, Forrest Whittaker's Kavanaugh is IAD ou to bust the corupt Strike Force, but it looks like VIc and the gang are still gonna walk away.
CCH Pounder's character is now the new Captain even if last week's show had the twist of LAPD's Top Brass about to restrict her after discovering she had Lupus.
Any other fans out there? Tomorrow's the 90-minute season fiinale. Looks like it's going to end nastier than last season.

My husband is a big fan so I usually end up watching it, but it's kind of like The Sopranos for me: I don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of characters and plots we saw years ago, so some of it goes over my head. Tomorrow night looks to be a huge shitstorm though. At the end of the last episode my husband and I just sat there with our eyes bugging out and our mouths hanging open. Like this:

It's raw, gritty. I just saw the season finale last night but I'm still .... Just...wow.... But CCH Pounder's character as captain is gonna get some straightening in The Barn; not a lot but some. Since she's been there from Day 1, it's a stable position for a change. I'm feeling like Kavanaugh thoughthe Strike Team has out-lived it's usefulness. Shane got to go down....That was cold blooded, what he did.

I don't know if anyone cares, but I figured I'd bump this since the new season starts Tuesday. I still get a little teary when I think about poor Lem.
