Did anyone else catch this last night? I was out, so I only saw the second half. Seemed mildly interesting, if more than a little cliched.

Dougray Scott looked, um, very yellow to me. I like him, and usually think he's hotter than the sun, but the yellow and the (albeit good) put on American accent muffled the hotness.

I wonder if he has a drinking problem. He really looked yellow. And old.

I didn't watch the show, but I always wonder why casting agents (or whoever) go to the trouble of casting someone with a super-cool accent and then have them play an American. Is there any reason why the character can't be Scottish? Having a different accent really does effect Dougray's hotness! Even if it is an English accent instead of a Scottish one, he just isn't as hot.

It was very good and I agree I would have loved listening to Dougray's real accent. Its rerun on Bravo and I think you can stream it on your computer. NBC is offering it. Though I'm not sure.

I watched last night and really enjoyed it. I think it was much better than the premier episode, and Dougray looked a lot better too.

Why couldn't the character just be Scottish? I know a lot of Americans have trouble understanding Scottish accents (they can get really really thick), but Dougray's brogue isn't normally that thick.

I've actually given up CSI NY to watch. Dougray is quite charming and sexy. Actually did the tango last night and had a great kiss with the lady cop.

Last night's ep was on a par with, if not better than, the pilot. I've got my fingers crossed that they can keep the momentum going.

But please....let Dougray speak with his Scottish accent one in a while. Its just too hot.

Would not surprise me at all. Like I said in my first post in this thread, he's not aging well, and I swear he looked yellow in the first episode.

And, did you check out his teeth last night? He needs a bleaching kit ASAP. They weren't so much yellow as brown.

He's still hot and talented.

wtf? NBC should have given this more of a shot.
