Okay, I don't know if anyone still watches this show... I didn't, but then I halfheartedly caught a marathon and the 2 new season episodes tonight, so I'm sorta into it again. It really infuriates me now, though. The whole debacle with the (baaad actress) bartender was so stupid. Heidi: "How do I know if Spencer is telling the truth or not?" Um, watch the episode when it airs!! And we already know from the wedding dress previews and the media in general that she and Spencer DO NOT break up, so it's just pointless! It also makes the show seem really awkward for LC's real-life boyfriend to not appear on camera. I wonder how they'll work around that this season, since she's still dating him? It will just be odd for her to go the whole season without a love interest, or even a date or anything. I wonder if he has anything to do with her leaving the show.

Yeah...I caught a little bit of it tonight, but this show will never be as good as it was during the first 3 seasons. Now it's just so damn fake! But still, watching Lo be overprotective of Lauren is awesome. They really do have a great friendship. And watching Lauren/Heidi made me cry. I went through a similar situation (but we had been best friends for 12 years, and it didn't involve a douche), and seeing Heidi tell Lauren how much she missed her and how all her favorites memories made me cry, which I am embarrassed to even admit. I think that's the most genuine emotion I've seen from Heidi since Spencer came into her life. Too bad she wasted someone that seems to be a great friend, for a famewhore douche like Spencer.

Oh! And seeing Stephanie call Spencer an awful person was awesome!

This bartender apparently works *every* shift at the Dime? And she tells Heidi that she didn't know Spencer had a girlfriend or something? She's a bartender, in Hollywood!, who has apparently never seen the Hills or an Us Weekly and is unaware that Spencer and Heidi are together?

I'm not going to lie, despite the douchiness, I think Brody is so fucking cute. He and LC have a genuine warmth and chemistry together while Lo and Audrina just seem like they're popping up to give exposition.
I love the Soup's mockery of this show. The "It's so weird that all of this is happening while Lauren is gone" line will never grow old to me.

Who is LC dating, footballerswife? Is it that dude from My Boys I saw her papped with recently? I'm guessing he's not on the show since he has an actual life and career of his own.

I will never, for the life of me, understand Heidi. Dude, everyone - even his own sister! - is telling you what an awful person Spencer is! Are they all wrong? Unless he is hung like a horse and can give you an orgasm just by looking at you, I don't get why you'd stick with it for so long (besides the famewhore aspect, of course).

Yeah, she's dating Kyle Howard from My Boys. According to Lo, he can't appear on The Hills due to contractual obligations or something.

I think Brody is really cute too, especially with his new haircut. I can't deny that he is, indeed, a douche, but compared to the other dudes on this show, he's Prince Charming. I'm wondering if the show will focus more on him and his relationship with the Playmate girl next season (assuming they are still together), since LC will be gone and Audrina is going to have her own show. I mean it can't all be about Heidi, Spencer, and their siblings.

huntergrayson, I am with you on The Soup recap love. Joel killed me this week imitating Spencer's head-bobbing and staring at the "tavern barmaid."

I just watched my first episode this week (on MTV.com) and I am hooked. I know a bit about the "characters" from here, magazines, etc., but Spencer must be scripted, yes? No one can be that much of douche.

I think that Spencer has got something seriously good on Miss Heidi that would just ruin her beyond anything she could do herself. She knows that he's a prick, yet she forages on.

I guess they're going to do a real wedding this time for the season finale. *yawn*

And Brody is fiiiiine. I know he's a ladies man, but he seems like a genuine friend and confidant, and I don't think he's super famewhoreish.

I was watching "Princes of Malibu" from Netflix the other day, and man, Spencer was an even bigger douche then! Even David Foster was ready to cut his ass up.

WTF is Spencer's problem!? (Yeah, yeah, I don't even know where to begin with that one). Just say you're busy and can't take a trip right now - don't outright LIE and claim to be in Vegas when you aren't and then, you know, the episode will air, exposing the lie.

So, thanks to TWOP, I found this awesome story from the NY Daily News that LC is soooooo over the show that they filmed all her reaction shots months ago and are just inserting them as needed. Here's the thing that makes me believe said rumor is true - the article is dated 4/7 and it mentions not only the fake Audrina-Brody storyline (which is obviously being trumped up for the promos because, hello, Audrina, you *just* made up with LC, why would you date her ex?) - but also Stephanie Pratt being preggers as a potential random storyline. And then this episode episode (airing on 4/20) had that random Lo reaction of "oh, well most people only crave pickles when they're pregnant"

As someone who lives in LA and longs to do something vaguely industry-related and has busted my ass in various internships, the fact that these celebutards are just handed awesome opportunities and internships via MTV really annoys me.

I never watched The Hills until last season, so I have no idea what the original drama was between Brody and LC, but I may have watched an episode of Bromance or two and Brody is adorable. I actually think that he and LC might actually be relatively fun, nice people to be around when the cameras are off - I mean, no, I'm not going to have discussions on foreign policy with them, but doing shots and talking about boys? That could be fun.

I don't know if I could go on. Kristin is so vapid....and I don't care about Justin Bobby AT ALL. I always thought Lauren was kind of a void, but damn. There's nothing interesting about this show. When Heidi and Spencer's house-hunting is the most compelling thing going on, AND when they seem the most normal, something is WRONG.

I knew that once LC left, this show would be even more worse for wear. I'm happy to know that I was right.

I will not watch this show any longer, especially knowing that they're paying the cast $100,000 each per episode for doing NOTHING. Next! (Especially when I hear about Spencer telling PEOPLE that he isn't having sex with Heidi because he's afraid she'll stop taking her birth control and she'll get preggers. FANTASTIC marriage you've got there, kids! How about you using a little BC, Spence?)
