Now THAT was a great finale! They wrapped it up nice and neat without being too perfect.
I totally forgot that she had yet to nail Stroh for his crimes. Love the way that it was handled and it had my heart in my throat a couple times! Kudos!

Fantasic episode. I had to look away a few times because I was scared. Great send-off. B-bye Stroh, you monster.

It was scary. I missed the opening, so I had no idea it was that scary in the beginning. Stroh was a monster & I'm glad Brenda got him in the end. I also liked Rusty. I thought he might go with Brenda, since they set up a nice parallel between them.
The only thing I didn't like was the culmination of Gabriel's story. That was just a little too pat for me. Gabriel loved being a cop. I just don't see him leaving the police department, though I guess his career was damaged by the girlfriend's actions. But he could have started over somewhere else. I don't know. I'm not a big Gabriel fan, so Brenda's unwavering loyalty to him always seemed a bit ridiculous to me. Especially in light of the other guys unwavering support of her.
I liked Major Crimes. I felt bad for Provenza. He was doing a good job running the unit. Saying that...I missed the old Provenza. I hope his snarky relationship with Starkes provides as much humor as his relationship with Andy. Sanchez continues to prove he's the best. He rocks balls out.

Maybe I misunderstood, but I thought that Gabriel is still going to be a part of the LAPD? He's working as a liaison to the DAs office connected to Brenda's new team there?
She may have felt the hostility that was being conveyed to Gabriel in Major Crimes and decided to give him something else to do so he wouldn't have to deal with the drama? I'm sure she feels responsible in some capacity because of her leaving Baylor(?) alone with his gang.
So, I guess Rusty is going to be a permanent fixture with Major Crimes? (he's transitioned to the new spin-off and is featured with the rest of the cast names)

Oh. You're right, Spinderella. He is a liaison. Guess that's the same as Fritz's job. He's with the FBI, but works with Major Crimes on cases with a federal bent.
I'm torn because while it may have been morally ambiguous what she did, I didn't exactly shed any tears over that POS getting what he deserved.

I didn't realize that Major Crimes had started. Must go find it!

Not sure if I should start a new thread or not since this show is a continuation of the last one, but did anyone else watch the last episode of Major Crimes?
“Alon told me you want to divorce him because of Prick.” “Thorn.”
“All this is because of that miserable Prick.” “Thorn.”
Hahaha. The guy from NCIS and Dark Angel was hilarious as Prick Thorn. "I don't speak Latin."
This show is taking a little while to find its groove, but I really liked this last episode. Rusty is a great character, and I rarely like teenage boy characters so that’s saying something.

I guess I'm the only watching "Major Crimes"? I'm really liking the Rusty storyline and the way the cases are solved is interesting though not given to scenery chewing like confessions could sometimes be on the old show.

No. I'm watching too! I love it. Rusty & Sharon make me cry every episode.

I'm watching it, too. I like it so far. It's a different approach then the way Brenda Leigh handled things (obvs.), but it's a good show to watch on Monday nights.
