Has anyone watched either episode of this show on CBS? I don't really like it.
I think it's too over-the-top. The storyline of the woman with the flaming gay husband and a daughter named Oprah is really hard to swallow. And all the characters seem like reasonably affluent people who think they're so miserable because they don't feel 100% completely fulfilled all the time. Yawn.
Also, this is an ensemble cast of eight characters who are not related, so why are they all white? There isn't a single person of color as one of the main characters, which wouldn't bug me quite so much if I didn't think these characters are all kinda hoity-toity to begin with.
Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention that the way they're dealing with that one suicidal character seems really stupid and in poor taste.

The pilot lost me when it expected me to believe that so much of a 3rd Grade class would (a) all be living in the same town (b) would even remember each other 20+ years later and (c) care.
Sorry, Jason Ritter, but not even you can sway me.
They're in Philadelphia, too, which makes it more glaring.

I didn't mind it. I thought that the whole 3rd grade reunion thing was funny becuase when Jason Ritter was calling everyone was like "Who the hell are you? Why are you calling me?" and then treated him like he was insane for wanting to do a 3rd grade reunion. The few that came only came because of glaring personal problems in their lives.
I will admit though that I honestly only care about the foursome of Jason Ritter, the two sisters and the redheaded guy. Everyone else is mega boring.
