Why did Hugh Grant and Elizabeth Hurley break up? IIRC, the story was that it was nothing dramatic or over-wrought. They just figured out that they were better as friends than as lovers. Me, I would have left after the Divine Brown incident but apparently they were quite tolerant of each other's wanderings. I also wonder if Hugh's reluctance to become a dad contributed to their split; she had always talked about wanting to have a child eventually (although maybe Steve Bing was not the ideal sperm donor) while Hugh was always quite open about his "Ew, ick, children" view of the world. |

They didn't break up until 5-6 years later, so I don't think that was the issue.
Liz once explained it that after however many years they were together (13? 14?) they were both completely apathetic about the idea of getting married to each other and having a family together. Realizing there's something wrong with that, they decided to split up and find the people they'd be excited about doing those things with.

I think the dress looks nice. It's actually a lot more conservative than what I originally pictured her wearing. I thought there was going to be that slit that she shows off with every other gown that she wears.

I should toss aside my little white gloves, join the 21st century, and accept that 41-year-old moms now wear white frou-frou wedding gowns, but that dress does seem a little young for her.
