My sister and I love that one! That one song, "Don't be," just ... gah. Her voice is TERRIBLE. Didn't the friend push another little girl down the stairs (so she broke her neck) as a child or something? I'm pretty sure she also bludgeons a guy with a brick at some point, too.
I know, it's crazy. The movie definitely makes her more sympathetic and makes the victim out to be a total bitch (which, from what I read, she kind of was bitchy, but she was just a kid!). What gets me is that the real-life killer had no real reason to be so jealous or whatever she was that made her do what she did. She was pretty (IMO, from pictures I've seen, even prettier than the other girl) and pretty popular in her own right. It seems like she killed the girl ... because she was upset she didn't get into some sorority-type thing? It's just bizarre.
But Tori's death scene in that movie is spectacular, as is Kellie Martin's performance. Shouting, "I just wanted to be friends!" as she stabs her. I'm probably going to hell for laughing at that.

You say that like 1) it's a bad thing and 2) I don't already know that! So! Slumber party, my house?

Why are Diane Keaton and Sigorney Weaver suddenly doing Lifetime movies?
I do not understand how this makes sense.

Whaaaaaaaaaat? I can see Diane Keaton, because her work has been steadily going downhill over the years. But Sigourney Weaver? Lame. And I am NOT having a slumber party with you, Dwan. You might put the moves on me.

Did anyone else happen to catch, "Gina Gerson: All She Ever Wanted" last night on LMN? Her accent was EXACTLY the same one she used in Showgirls and I could not stop laughing. I had to turn it off after 45 minutes though it was just that bad.

My favorite moves on the Lifetime: Women in Crisis network are "Lucky Girl: My Daughter's Secret Life" with Elisha Cuthbert as a teenaged gambler who runs up a huge debt and then is forced by her bookie/loanshark to take some risque pictures with the bookie and the bookie's wife. But IIRC her parents found out, bust in and rescue her, and no pics were taken. She stops gambling, but the desire never leaves her...
That one was made in Canada, I think, but I saw it on Lifetime.
and the other is "Gospel of Deceit" with Alexandra Paul who plays a preacher's wife who has an affair with a rugged handyman about 20 years her junior, and it turns out he was hired by the preacher in order to prove adultery because he didn't want to be married to Alexandra Paul any longer. The preacher also is being courted by another church or either has asiprations for a tele-evangelism show, I can't remember which, and he wants his wife out of the way. But the wife prevails in the end (after a few mental breakdowns, including one in her nightgown outside on the front lawn in the wintertime and the preacher husband just leaves her there). And the implication is that she and the 20-year-younger hunky handyman will be together forever.

Anyone catch the Ashton Kutcher/Michelle Pfieffer movie, Personal Effects last night?
They're repeating it tonight if you feel the need to see some predictable TV.
Ashton is a pretty, pretty man, but the guy can not act. Every scene he had the same expression. It was so bad, I was starting to suspect botox by reverse osmosis from Demi's face.

Nothing can top Mother, May I Sleep with Danger? in sheer campiness. I watch every time it comes on.
