Once again, I get a good Saturday morning TV show thread idea from Swan Flake. I liked "California Dreams" and tolerated "Saved by the Bell" but this show was craptastic. I am going to head over the Wikipedia to find out some interesting info. Be right back.
So Anthony Anderson was in this? I barely remember him. And Jay Hernandez who has done pretty good for himself. I also did not know that he is married to the blonde basketball player in real life! I despised her.

This show sucked.
I hated the stupid depictions of their basketball games. Like, they'd be down by a bunch of points and then suddenly it'd dawn on them something trite like "Ohmahgah y'all, TEAM WORK!!!" and then all of the sudden there'd be this big muscial montage of them doing all these great plays on the court and then, hurrah! Right as the buzzer sounded, they won! And I could never get past the fact that Anthony Anderson was too fucking fat to be on the kind of state champion basketball team that the show depicted. But it doesn't matter because if you work hard enough you can make all of your dreams can come true! Which is what the show taught us every week with their completely unrealistic basketball games!
Who was more annoying? Mary Beth? Or Julie?

I remember Anthony Anderson from this show. When he started doing movies I was thinking that it was weird that the guy from the crappy basketball show still had a career. I am, to this day, flummoxed by this.

I am, to this day, flummoxed by this. Ditto. And not in a "Hmm of all the kids from that show I'm surprised he's the most successful" sort of way. More in a "He belongs with the rest of them" sort of way.

Oh Hang Time. The theme song was amazing. The only episode I remember is the HIV one.

I could not stand that Julie chick either. I am in shock that Jay Hernandez is married to her. I used to find that one tall guy with the bangs pretty cute, that one that dated Julie in the beginning.
I also remember the red haired cheerleader who was in that movie Little Monsters.
