The canadian in me squees whenever they bring up Robin's Canadian-ness. I laughed out loud many times at this week's ep. Especially when Marshall and Barney were singing.

That MySpace has some funny stuff there, especially the Threesome video. I thnk I'll buy whatever seasons are on DVD for my hubby for Christmas.

Heads up! Amazon has the first season on sale for $12.99! Such a deal ... plus great full cast commentary.
I so loved Marshall making hand turkeys because, naturally, they would be eating turkey and then he would slap Barney in the face. Awesome.

I missed the last halfish of last season (and I really want the DVDs) and the first few of this season, but...it's like one of maybe 3 sitcoms my roommate and I actually watch. Naturally, I downloaded Slapbet after this week's episode to get her caught up.
Despite being a pretty basic-format sitcom, I feel like it is actually, ya know, funny and tries to do some interesting stuff sometimes.
That said, I think the chemistry of the cast alone is enough to keep me watching.
The pet peeves episode was pretty funny as well.

Robin needs a new storyline. I don't really care if it includes Barney or not at this point, the "I'm so hungry I'm going to lick ATM deposit envelopes" last night was pathetic.
Goliath National Bank is not going to end well.

Marshall's monologue about what that burger meant to him was great. I do agree that Robin needs some juicier storylines; actually it seems that the women on the show really don't get much of a storyline at all. As long as we get lots of Barney, I'm fine, though. I fell in love with NPH all over again last week - he was so adorable being in love and all.

Tonight's episode was so good! I loved Ted being douché and Robin playing hockey inside. Even better--the flash forward to 2009. I rewound and rewatched that a couple of times just to confirm...NO RING on Ted's finger! And Barney and Robin were canoodling!

I'm just glad that the episode explained why Marshall and Lily are never seen in their Dewstrepia place despite having it for season or so.
