Well, having gotten over my horror at seeing a thread with this name on CPMCoG, allow me a moment to eyeroll @ the Teletubbies=Homo thing. Jerry Falwell must be delighted.

They "investigate" for this sort of thing in Poland? My gosh.
What is the premise for this show, anyway?

I'm not sure; it has something to do with living under a baby sun.
This show is still wierd I almost like it. I also like the YouTube videos that edit clips of them dancing to hip hop songs.

I want to dislike the teletubbies, but they've hypnotized me into submission. I must repeat the same things over and over.

This show is still on?! Wow, I thought we all got over the Tinky-Winky-is-gay thing like, 10 years ago. Keep up with the times, Poland!

Jerry Falwell may be gone, but his spirit lives on. In Poland, apparently. Tinky Winky doesn't carry a purse anyway, it's a European Carryall. [/Seinfeld] Shouldn't the Polish realize that, being from Europe and whatnot? As far as I can tell, Teletubbies are mutant furry toddlers with TV sets in their bellies who frolic in a psychedelic land where a the sun has a baby's face and giggles sometimes. Halfway through the show, they watch a video about something that is boring to the casual viewer, but absolutely riveting to two-year-olds and potheads. I used to watch with my sister when she was a toddler...so?

Well, according to my almost-2-year-old the premise is something like, " Baby! Baby baby baby! Tumbies! Hiiii! La-la! Po! Bunnies! Baby! Dance!" But you have to shriek all of that at the top of your lungs. Yeah, I TiVo the show every day because 5 minutes of "Tumbies" is the best way to get my toddler to sit still long enough to brush her hair every morning. I have yet to notice a homosexual agenda in the show.

My eldest cat had a total Tubbies phase back in '98/'99! Every morning at 7 AM, while we had breakfast before work, she just had to sit in front of the TV and watch her show. I swear, she was transfixed! Her favorite was Dipsy, for some reason.
Thankfully, she got over it after a few months. ;D

I watched a few episodes in college. I was flipping past and this show caught my attention. Then I sat, sort of hypnotized, as the show went on. It was... so relaxing.
I thought I was the only one, and then one day the boy was flipping past, and he stopped too. And he and I and his roommate and another friend sat through the whole thing. Yes, we were sober. And we even discussed it a little:
Friend: They repeat stuff a lot. Boy: Yup.
Other than that, total silence. We were riveted. I can't explain it.
