Blood Ties is currently on Lifetime in the U.S. and coming to Citytv this August in Canada. Its got quite a cult following judging by the IMDb board and the slew of websites. Has anyone seen it? if so, is it good? There are a few romantic scenes on youtube (I'll look for links) and I think I'm hooked already. Patiently waiting in Canada. ETA: Found this lovely music vid that's quite shippy and angsty. Right up my alley. Bring Me to Life music video

Just bringing this thread back up in case anyone is watching here in Canada or the U.K.
The show is starting the second half of its 1st season in the U.S. later in October.
We're on the 5th episode in Canada and I can honestly say its finally hitting its stride. I was hanging in there simply because Henry was cute, but its becoming 'must see' t.v. for me. (and in my humble opinion....a show that "Moonlight" will never be)

Tamara you made me curious about this show so I fired it up on On Demand and watched the first three episodes of Season 2 and LOVED IT ! Thanks for turning me onto it, now I'm hooked. I feel a little guilty drooling over the lead Kyle Schmid because he's only 22 years old. Altho, when I look at him he looks like he's 30.
He's gorgeous! I've asked Netflix to order Blood Ties Season 1 DVD set so that I may view the first season. They said they would get it Late January. ( can't wait! )

I do have to retract my statement, slightly.
I think MOONLIGHT has surpassed this show. Its got more money behind it and the production just looks classier. I'm also more intrigued with Beth/Mick than Vicki/Henry....although the latter has a great love triangle. I also like the fact that BLOOD TIES deals with all sorts of phenomenon, and not just vampires.

I've never seen this. Even so, I turn up my nose and say, "Hmmph!" due to my Moonlight love. I kid, I kid. I should check it out.

They are having a Mega-Con in Orlando March 7,8,9. And a whole hosts of these Sci-Fi shows stars are going to be there from BSG, Heroes (Adrian Pasdar), BloodTies (Kyle Schmid) will be there. Some of the message boards are saying that my new boyfriend Alex O'Loughlin will be there too. All those gorgeous men in one room , I CAN'T STAND IT!! LOL!

Tamara I have unfortunately missed all of Season 1 and they are into the 4th episode of Season 2. Last night's episode was good, but Henry isn't very happy with Vicki. Kyle Schmid looked edible last night.
