I watched it and enjoyed it. The thing about Burnett's shows that I love is that he hires geniuses at set and challenge design, everything on Pirate Master looks almost real.

Except the costumes seemed to be from Ye Olde Pirate Porno Shoppe.
I'll stick with it at least until I figure out the rules of the game!

I'm still -- hmm... on this show.
Too many rules -- and the prize.
How can anyone walk away with a million dollars, when the prizes are divied up the way it is.
Unless, there is another chest out there worth 1 million. I still don't see too much strategy in this game.
It appears as if the contestants only have to read a map, dig, and hope they don't have a black mark on their letter.

I watched, but I don't know if I'll bother with future episodes. I might record it if I think about it, but it didn't pull me in. It seemed a little too theme-y and unless they mix things up a bit, it doesn't seem like there's much drama or suspense.

I was disappointed. I ended up fast forwarding through most of the last 30 minutes. The challenge reminded me of the ones on Treasure Island but much easier.

I enjoyed watching that obnoxious tool John (Mr. Compass) get the boot. I wish they'd made him walk that plank.

Ha, my husband was wandering around the house not paying much attention to the show, until he stopped and said, "Scientist slash exotic dancer? Why don't you do that?" (I'm a biologist) and plopped his ass down to watch the rest of the show. You know that tool thought he was going to be all "Fabio-Pirate-Captain-Romance-Novel-Cover" on this show. The show is pretty silly and hard to understand the rules of, but at least the first boot was satisfying. I'm sure I'll be watching every week since my son is already completely hooked on it.
