I know HBO programming is edgy but WOW -this was really explicit. I'll tune in next week, for sure.

WHOA.
Interesting show. I didn't care a fig about the youngest couple (the engaged one) but I liked the other two.
The old people sex at the end kind of bugged, though. (I think it is cool for old folks to get it on, I want to when I'm old, probably, but seeing it is very odd.)

Guess me and MrsBowling are the only viewers on board. But in a shameless plug for the show and a shoutout to all the "Losties" out there I'm happy to inform that Boone is a new cast member of TMYLM. Yes! And he pitched a tent last night and not the kind of tent you see on Lost. Penny (Desmond's love interest) is also on the show.
I get a little irritated with Katie and David (the couple not having sex) the lack of intimacy is grinding esp. when they can't even discuss it. I'm dying to know how they got to this point in their relationship so I can avoid it.
I think Carolyn's gone round the bend, I see Palek mentally packing his bags.
I rather like Jamie and all her flaws, her best friend(Carolyn's sister) is awesome!
As for May the therapist, can she give good counsel if she's unfaithful to her marriage?

I watched an episode and a half, and I gave up.
I really wanted to like it because I love Jane Alexander and I was intrigued by the promises of hot sex scenes, but not even that could draw me in. I just couldn't take the whining, the neediness, and the sheer lack of personality in these characters. Maybe I should give it another try, but I'm just not interested enough in these people to watch them going at it.

I don't have HBO, so I'm wondering just how explicit it really gets. The way it's being described makes it sound like porn with actual actors. Are they actually showing penetration, or erect penises, or throbbing, um, girly parts?
And why haven't we seen anything in the Celebrity Endowments thread?

To answer your question yes -You see it all with the exception of graphic penetration. There was even a money shot!!!I was floored. Despite the explict depiction of sex it never seems too raunchy. I suppose because these are couples in relationships and the acting/story could carry the show.

That said I think Palek and Carolyn are done, she's crazy.
I think Dave and Katie are gonna "do it" now they been advised not to.
