Oh, I'm right there with you Gem Stone. We can be banished together! I actually thought it was sort of funny, and I loved the asshole roomate caveman. I think it would be a BETTER show if it didn't have all the caveman stuff, because I honestly can't see how they're going to stretch that joke out, but it was actually mildly amusing to me, which is more than I can say for Carpoolers.

I laughed at the part where the Caveman was confronting the girlfriend at the dinner, and all the dishes were being served at the same time.

Otherwise, it just didn't seem to work. Not the worst, but really not much else.

I HATE the Geico cavemen commercials - I think they're one of the stupidest and most annoying ad campaigns I've seen in ages. I can't believe they made a frickin' TV show out of it.

I hope it's canceled tout suite.

The numbers for Tuesday: FOX was number one in the 18-49 demo and tied for second in households with CBS (NCIS, The Unit, Cane) with their lineup of Bones and House. ABC was second in 18-49 and first in households with the premieres of Cavemen and Carpoolers and new eps of Dancing with the Stars and Boston Legal. NBC was next in the 18-49 demo (fourth in households) with The Singing Bee, Biggest Loser, and Law and Order: SVU. The CW had new eps of Beauty and the Geek and Reaper.

So Cavemen did ok! Not great, but ok! I have no idea what to make of that....

I just wanted to pop in to say that I still can't believe they made a tv show based around a commercial. Too strange.

Boo, I missed it because there was a stupid tornado in our area, so the news covered that for 45 minutes. I so wanted to wallow in the suckitude.

The cavemen scare me. Or I should say, they creep me out. I can't even watch the commercials, so I certianly can't imagine watching a half hour of them. The thought gives me shivers. They're so... creepy.

I find one of them oddly sexy. But I'm rationalizing it because underneath the makeup he's a commentator that I really like on Best Week Ever.

In other, sadder, news I watched it again last night because my sister had missed it and I told her I thought it was funny and she wanted to see. I was curious about seeing it again because I wanted to know if, now that I saw it and thought it was funny would I still think it was funny? Or did I only think it was funny the night before because it surprised me?

It was funnier on the second viewing. I know, I know--I suck. It's stupid and, more fittingly, absurd but it amuses me. So maybe for once I can like one of those shows that makes everyone wonder, "how is this still on?" That never happens to me. Yay!

I completely agree. We live in a society where anything that takes any form of thinking lasts half a season and yet shows like I Love New York get renewed over and over again.
