I'm definitely checking it out, and I think the ratings will be good for the first show at least, but I just don't see how they can continue this storyline. Of course, Carpoolers has an even dumber plotline, so who knows?

I still love the Geico cavemen commercials.

And if I remember that it's on, I'm totally tuning in to this.

I still think the commercials are funny too, but I don't know how they're gonna translate into a sitcom. It seems like it will be like an SNL skit that goes on for waaaaaay too long.

I still love the cavemen too, and I tried watching it because I couldn't find anything else to watch since I don't like anything that was in the same timeslot. It was just too painful for me though. I left after probably only one minute, and then I came back when I had run through all the channels, and tried watching it again, and still couldn't sit through it.

I tried watching seeing how long I could watch that show too, and it was even less than Caveman, even with trying to figure out if Hope and Faith had been canceled by ABC, because of Faith Ford being in bed with one of the characters from Carpoolers. My money is on Carpoolers being the first show of the season to be canceled but with Caveman lasting a little bit longer, but not even being close to reaching mid-season.

I agree with these predictions. I didn't watch more than a few minutes of Cavemen.

I'm watching it now, and it's so bad. So very bad.

I had actually read somewhere that the original pilot was even worse, and they went and re-shot it. Could have just been a rumor, but if this is Pilot: Take 2, then why isn't it any better?

ETA: Man, Carpoolers is hilarious. But I'm sure it will be dragged down by the suckitude of the show right before it and will be canceled mighty soon.

Mr. Ish and young master Ish watched Caveman tonight. 15 minutes into it I BEGGED them to turn it off and they were both in total agreeance. Mr. Ish thought it was absolutely horrible.
I hope the people who greenlit this show will be forced to sit (tied to a chair...it will be needed) and forced to watch this on a loop.

Alright, I'll do it. I liked Cavemen. Liked it enough to tune in next week, at least. I laughed a few times, which is more than I can say for Back to You (which I had high hopes for). I don't watch a lot of sitcoms, but I don't think this one is any worse than a lot of what's out there. I AM glad to see that they're following the trend of not having a laugh track, and I love that the cavemen take themselves so seriously. The annoyingly sardonic one cracked me up. Maybe I'm just not evolved enough* but I find a hipster caveman to be hilarious. You all can take away my Greecie card now, I understand.

I watched it, and I just thought it was pretty unremarkable. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't brillant either. It just seemed middle-of-the-road typical sitcom stuff. I laughed at some things, but there was nothing that made me want to immediately tune in again. It was like something I wouldn't mind having on in the background if there's nothing else to watch.

I was happy to see the guy who played the trainee at the Ikea-type store. His name completely escapes me at the moment, but I've seen his standup routine and he's hilarious (he also frequently shows up on Reno 911).
