"All Through the Night" doesn't get me hot or anything, but I think it's one of the prettiest pop songs ever released.

Paul McClaney's Darling You Turn Me On works wonders for me. It's a slow build sort of song and when you add in the lyrics ... whooo! Also just about anything Gregg Dulli sings gets me kind of hot. The Afghan Whig's Gentleman album in particularly does it for me, but I find that just about anything he sings can get me going; I think it's his raw style of singing.

The third segment of Jenny Lewis's The Next Messiah is awesome. When she sort of whispers, and then wails, "I want to tell you I love you"...well, it kind of makes my blood pressure skyrocket. With the hotness.
And I don't care that it's not really new--Air's Sexy Boy is heart-palpitating. And so is Suzanne Vega's Caramel. In fact, I'd venture to say that the entirey of her Nine Objects Of Desire cd is a Work-In-Hotness.
Even though it's such a fake-out because every time I hear the opening chords, I think of George Michael's 'Faith'...I love Tracy Bonham's Mother, Mother.
Oh, by the way, sugarhigh, seeing your username reminds me of Empire Records, which reminds me of Edwin Collins' A Girl Like You . Yow.

Totally on board with the Kings of Leon love! Except they make me feel like a dirty old woman. I actually paid full price for the cd. I think the last time I did that was in 1990.
