I don't think anyone has mentioned "Talk Show Host" by Radiohead yet, but MAN, does that do it for me. Oh man, I am with you on that one. Okay, I am probably alone in this, but Jeff Buckley's "Lover, You Should've Come Over" just doesn't do it for me. I love the song, but don't find it that sexy. HOWEVER, "Everybody Here Wants You"... yes, definitely. Also, "So Real" (esp. the bit in the middle where he's talking), and for some reason, I find "The Sky Is A Landfill" kind of sexy. God, that man had a delicious voice. Agreed on the NIN, especially "Closer" and "Sanctified". A lot of Muse songs also have a similar... intensity. Mmm. "I Want You" by Elvis Costello. The first time I listened to it, I was like, damn. "The Sky Is Broken" by Moby. I don't know why. It just is. "Trickster" by David Usher. Probably a few more songs of his too. He just has a damn sexy voice. Hell, I've been to a concert of his and he has a damn sexy stage presence too. Man. I'm making a "sexy" playlist in itunes and I bet I'll end up adding half the songs here. I love this thread.

I discovered last night that The Doors' "Riders on the Storm" is a really hot song to have on when you're Doing It.

Oooh, good one carrier76. Another one by the Sneaker Pimps that makes me all tingly is "Lightning Field". I just love the way he sings: "Strike me down/Take any way you want." It's like...well, if you insist!
Also,"Special K" by Placebo. It makes me want to drive at dangerous speeds, parallel park at 60 mph and then rip someone's clothes off.

See, Foxfair, I never even thought about it as shameful. I do now though, but somehow that makes the song even hotter to me. Beside the chorus, this is the most sexy part to me: And then there's the rhytm and the melody and just gah! I get hot and bothered just talking about it. I also like the lyrics to Your Body Is A Wonderland by John Mayer, and Wicked Game is a given. Cry To Me by Solomon Burke is also a favourite. Dirty Dancing is to blame. Come to think of it, practically the whole soundtrack to that movie is sex.

I heard Queen's "Body Language" last night for the first time since I was probably 12, and it got me really hot. It's such a dorky song that I don't know if I'd actually play it during sex. I think I just used to think it was sexy when I was little and it triggered that memory. Hopefully?

I'm glad I'm not alone.
My husband was checking out my sexy playlist on my iPod and he asked me about that song and I figured out why I think it's so sexy. It isn't just Solomon Burke's raw, uninhibited voice, but people from my generation (30 to 40 years old) probably watched Dirty Dancing far too many times and that scene where Baby and Johnny do it... Damn hot to my 16 year old self! It really made me realize I had some "thunder down under" if ya know what I mean. Solomon Burke's song had a lot to do with the hotness of that scene.

I find The Cocteau Twins very sexy. The layers of shimmering guitars, the otherworldly sheen of Liz Fraser's voice and the way it swoops and floats in complete (almost inarticulate) extacy, the insidious drum machine loops, all of it. GAH. One of my dreams is to make out in the rain while "Sugar Hiccup" is playing. Mmm.
Anyone else?
ETA: I reached four stars talking about The Cocteau Twins! Sweeeeet. I am....LORD of the Snarks! It's like being Lord of Dance, but without the embarassing perm and headband.
