I'm glad I'm not alone. My husband was checking out my sexy playlist on my iPod and he asked me about that song and I figured out why I think it's so sexy. It isn't just Solomon Burke's raw, uninhibited voice, but people from my generation (30 to 40 years old) probably watched Dirty Dancing far too many times and that scene where Baby and Johnny do it... Damn hot to my 16 year old self! It really made me realize I had some "thunder down under" if ya know what I mean. Solomon Burke's song had a lot to do with the hotness of that scene. Yeah, I know. When Baby walks around him and kisses his back and the look on his face is just gah! *sigh* It's also the rhytm in that song. Something so sensual about it. I wonder how many times I've actually seen the movie.

Due to recent events, apparently, all I can do is listen to sexy music. Anyway, for whatever reason, these songs are doing it for me:
Garbage - No.1 Crush, definitely Everybody knows - Leonard Cohen (that's weird I know) Turn it On & Dig Me Out - Sleater-Kinney Diana Anaid - Dumb Opinion
Anyone have some good suggestions for a CD that just expresses pure lust? Perhaps I'll check out Shakira. I can't do George Michael. My cheese factor tolerance is low, I think.

I know that it really really shouldn't, but Justin Timberlake's SexyBack makes me shudder...and in a good way. And I will agree with 6 Underground by Sneaker Pimps as being all kinds of sexy. *wipes brow* Another song I find sexy...Letting The Cables Sleep by Bush. Gavin Rossdale completely owns me. Who's Gwen?

If "6 Underground" by the Sneaker Pimps gets you going, try "Velvet Divorce" off the A Life Less Ordinary soundtrack. Oh my...

I remembered another: "Natural One" by Folk Implosion. something about that languid beat...
"Johnny Feelgood" by Liz Phair is kind of hot in an arch kind of way.

This is going to sound really odd, but I love Come With Me by Altern8 - it's a dance track but with a really sexy drum/bassline. I sort of want to pole dance to it. Pure Morning by Placebo, for the pronunciation of "boxing cleverrrrrrr" Chocolate by Kylie On and On by Erykah Badu Enjoy by Bjork
Oh dear, I hope the hubby never reads this or I'm never having sex again.

When I was younger, Silk's Freak Me was sexy. Now? I'm into subtle sensuality.

There's a song called "Paralyzed" by the Cardigans that's not traditionally sexy, but for whatever reason it really gets me. It's so...like the best kind of unresolved sexual tension, where being in the same room with the person makes the air thicker. The buildup is great, and at about 3:53 there's this perfect pause and then sort of a crescendo thing (see how technical I am?) that's just...hot.
