My sister got to see them at Madison Square Garden on New Year's Eve a few years ago -- how much better would that be than some lame NYE party? Now that is my idea of heaven. *swoons* Seriously, you HAVE to see them live. They are a gazillion times better - and hawter! I almost died from RH lurve at Coachella 2004. (No offense to Jonny, but I was on the Ed and Colin side.  ) |

I'm heading off to NY today to see The Phoenix Foundation's three shows in the city. I'm ridiculously excited about it. If you're in the NYC area, I highly highly recommend going to see them. They're at Pianos tonight at 8 p.m., Cake Shop tomorrow, and Mercury Lounge on Saturday. They're an awesome band from New Zealand trying to make a little headway here in the States. A really great sound and a bunch of nice guys. |

So I've seen my beloved Radiohead a total of 6 times, now. Last Sunday was THE best. They even played "Black Star"! Awwww! |

I'm seeing the BoDeans tonight. $6, can't beat it. 1990s flashback. I saw them 3 times. They do put on a great show. |

And The BoDeans always seemed to open for U2. Good show from them as well, all the time.

Awww, there there, Mr. Pancake!  You know what? Don't ever give up. I met a couple of people who got their tickets the day of the gig - and through official channels (website). And they got front row, too! How bloody amazing is that?!  |

Yeah, don't ever give up hope. At my first Phish show (shut up) all my hippie friends ordered them months in advance off the website. I went to Fiesta the day they sold the tickets and got front row. Needless to say, I kept passing it off to the big fans who had bought so much earlier because I knew they appreciated it more.
