I heard this song on the local adult contemporary station where I live. I've googled. I've been racking my brain. But I don't know who sings this song.
It's from the 80s and the chorus goes, "Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies." A girl sings the chorus.

I believe it's Fleetwood Mac, Little Lies bland.
Here's the rest of the chorus:

Ok, this is going to make me sound like a dumbass, but bear with me. What is the name of the Black Eyed Peas song that plays on the commercial for (I think) Best Buy or something, where the guy talks about being able to control them? It sounds surprisingly pretty cool, and that's the first time I've ever thought that about their music. And I sure as heck ain't buyin the whole album, particularly if the "Lady Lumps" song is on it.

Okay, can anyone attempt to help me out here? There's this song clip I heard on "The Fabulous Life of... JLo and Marc" on MuchMusic and it's driving me crazy.
The only line I know is "everybody... me and you" but it sounds like a disco-y, 5-year old Michael Jackson singing. I'm sure it's not, but it definitely could be. Very catchy.
So I've given you basically no info, but maybe someone is super awesome and knows what I'm talking about.
Hobocamp I think the BEP's song is "Pump It".

Has anyone heard that song that goes "Here by my side an Angel, Here by my side the Devil". It was featured in an episode of Queer as Folk in Season Three. I think it was the one right after Justin and Brian get back together, and J is giving B a head shot just like he drew a picture of for the comic book. It was also in a Season Two episode of Alias--the one where Marshall goes with Sydney on an assignment, and he's all proud and happy and she feels terrible because he doesn't know that SD-6 isn't really CIA, and then Marshall gets abducted by that scary Asian guy.

Uh, this is a tad vague, but it's a dancehall-ish song with a female singer (for this part, anyway):
ooh, your body girl something something I don't know? ooh, your body girl etc.
Ahthankya.
ETA: CAgirl: So it is! Thanks.

Going by just the first line, it sounds like Nina Sky. It think it was really popular last summer. I believe it's called "Move Your Body." It has a sample of Lisa Lisa in it of "Can you feel the beat within my heart, etc..."

Not so much a "what is this song," but rather a "who is the band." I have a cover of "Hit Me Baby, One More Time" (yes, the Brittney song) done by a band: the cover follows the orginal, but it's heavier -- lots of screeching guitars, for example.
Can anyone identify the group for me?
