I haven't seen WWE regularly since the Katie Vick angle. I came back to see the tributes to Guerrero and Benoit because I really liked those two, but every other time that I've tried to watch, I'm so lost. Plus, none of the newer guys entertain me.
However, if Jericho comes back, I will watch at least his segments - until, inevitably, they crap up the whole thing to the point that even he can't save it.
I'm looking forward to his book, though. I loved Foley's first two books and, apparently, this is supposed to be a bit like that. I just finished Bischoff's book and it just made me miss the Monday Night Wars. It also made me realize that I really did like Bischoff, even though he's an asshole. Great on-screen character, though.

I think if they give Jericho the freedom to just be himself and direct segments his own way (in other words NO scripts written for him), it'll pull my attention back in. I have trouble even bothering to watch WWE now.
I do tend to just watch more when theres a live show coming to town, but I like keeping up with the big stories. Not necessarily the storyline stories, the behind the scenes stuff is infinitely more interesting to me.
Out of the new guys, MVP is one I think will be around for a long time. Hes kick-ass.

I LOVED Lita! I thought she was the coolest female wrestler ever and haven't really watched since her tragedy of an exit. She and Trish Stratus set the standard for female feuds. I might, however, tune back in to see Jericho because he is so good on the mic.
Cena is out, right? Did Randy Orton injure him? I know Orton is the biggest sleaze, but I still find him incredibly hot for some reason. It's also worrisome that I find Edge hot.

I'll toss my hat in. I haven't watched regularly since 2001. The lack of competition has really hurt WWE I think. And of course recent ring tradegies and backstage gossip, I've come back for. I do remember my shock and dismay that Shawn Michaels had waxed his chest. I had the biggest crush on him for years.
I look forward to Jericho's book.

I think if they give Jericho the freedom to just be himself and direct segments his own way (in other words NO scripts written for him), it'll pull my attention back in. I have trouble even bothering to watch WWE now. That is the best way to handle it, but they tend to rein Jericho in for whatever reason. He gets too over? I never understood 2wqtheir deal with Jericho - he gets the pops, he has the look (OK, he's smaller than what the McMahons usually like, but it's not like he's Rey Mysterio), and he has the personality. He could have been huge and they kept botching it up. He was the champion yet he took the backseat to Stephanie and HHH's drama. Blech. Seriously. It may be years since I've watched, but I sure kept myself updated during the Edge/Matt/Lita drama, Randy Orton's 29892032 episodes of drama, and, now, the steroids/HGH suspensions/releases. He was injured during a match against Ken Kennedy - who is another dude that I know nothing about. ?! One thing that I love is that, through all the drama, backstage politics, allegiances, one thing remains constant: the Undertaker is someone that no one wants to cross. He may be slow as hell in the ring, he may squash his share of wrestlers, he may be old, but it cracks me up that everybody just tends to leave him be.

OMG OMG, I have to share: Its me! And the Undertaker! WOOOOOO!! Sorry, still marking out, heehee. I'm not really a Taker fan, but I still respect that hes a massive legend. And Orton is extremely hot. He might be the biggest asswipe in the world but hes still hot.

I'm not a fan of his either, but I also respect his legend. I don't watch much professional wrestling except when I'm visiting family. I know over at TWoP, they compare it to a soap opera, and that's very apt, because it's strange watching it again after about sometime and seeing a lot of new faces and storylines. Of course, then, there's the opposite, where there's still the same storylines going on and the same ancient people (like Sting or Ric Flair). (I'm not sure if Flair is still wrestling or not, but I'm always surprised, well maybe not really, to still see him doing it whenever I happen to watch it, because when I first started watching it like when I was around six or seven, he looked old to me then too.) (Well they seem ancient because it seems like they've always been wrestling ever since I've been watching it off and on, and that's been more than twenty years.) Finally, he seems like an asshat now; although, sometimes he had his good moments on what Real World or one of those endless RW challenges, but I'm happy for the Miz that he finally achieved his dream of becoming a professional wrestler. He still looks small compared to a lot of the other wresters even with what looks to be steroid enhancement, but good for him I say.

The Miz is a professional wrestler now? Holy shit!
I was a fan in the early '90s: Sting, The Undertaker (my two favorites), Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat.
There used to be this female wrestler in the '80s who got pretty famous, Queen Kong. I wonder what happened to her?

The Miz is a professional wrestler now? Holy shit! Yeah, he's been one for at least 2 years now. I grew up watching wrestling with my uncle since I could first remember. My brother used to collect wrestling magazines (before he decided he's outgrown wrestling and looks down on me for still being fan). My best friend is just as crazy about it as I am, if not more (quite possibly owns the biggest wrestling tape/dvd collection in the country). We both went to our first show 10 years ago when they came to Bahrain. We saw Bret Hart, The Undertaker, Ken Shamrock and The Rock (whom we confused when we deliberately chanted 'Rocky' at, as he was a heel/bad guy at the time. The look on his face was priceless! We soon changed it to 'Rocky sucks" and he smiled, hehe). Pity several of them never made it over due to injuries like Triple H, British Bulldog, Owen Hart and Steve Austin. What a night it was...
