Till they turn pro, here's where they go. Talk amongst yourselves.

I wonder what the reaction is to Marion Jones being sentenced to jail. (Is this the right place?) I always figured many, many Olympic athletes were doping (hello, Flo Jo or whatever her name was, the one who died from heart failure). I guess Jones' conscience couldn't take it anymore. And really, what kind of hollow victory is it anyway, to win Olympic medals because you're doped?

Yep, right place, Mugsy. I don't know about anyone else's response, but I was incredibly disappointed. I really liked Jones and admired what I thought was a stellar work ethic.

They're sending her to JAIL?!
Wow. I didn't realize this thing was that big.
When her husband failed a drug test in Sydney, it caused NBC to cut out some of their gymnastics coverage so they could cover the news about him. Damn druggies.

Shawn Crawford returns silver medal. I actually remember the race, it was a strange race because of all the lane violations. I don't really know what to make of it, yes, he finished 4th, but he also didn't violate any rules during the race. I don't remember what the actual finish times were, but if the inside step into another lane Spearmon and Martina did during the race helped them finish the race ahead of Crawford, then I think Crawford does deserve the medal and that he won it legitimately.

Coach Drake of the Kalamazoo Growlers...I desperately need to know the backstory on why they have a 6 year old "Coach" but this is seriously adorable. When my son was six, we felt lucky if he ran to first instead of third after he hit the ball. This kid already knows how to kick the dirt at the ump!
