For some reason, I was under the impression it's hard to adopt kids. Especially as a single mother.. naively, I thought it REALLY doesn't matter if you're famous or not, that adoption agencies wouldn't put the welfare of the kids under something as flippant as fame.

I thought because they allowed her to adopt three kids, she must be doing something right. Especially because they could actually see with the first child, what kind of mother she is.
I hope the other kids are ok!

I was wondering whether AmFar was going to do something to honor Natasha Richardson, since she did an amazing amount of work for them. And then I saw Sharon's thread and I thought, I'm sure that attention hog is going to find some way to horn in on it. So I popped on over to Google News, and wouldn't you know, there's a picture of Sharon behind a podium wiping away tears. I don't even need to read the article to know what that was about.

Secretly, I bet Sharon is pleased that she's got one less competitor for the title of "Biggest Celebrity AmFar Supporter". Lord knows she's been trying to shove aside Liz Taylor for years.

She may not have used an adoption agency. I'm sure there are family law attorneys who specialize in private adoptions. And as we all know, if you have enough money, you can get almost anything you want.

Oh man, I love that dress so much. Love big exposed zippers. That black french pedicure has got to GO, though. I hate the regular kind, because I don't see why you want your toenails to look longer, but to have them look longer AND have dirt up in them? Nononono.

I should say, I love that dress on me, but she does have the body to pull it off. I guess I wouldn't expect any differently from her.

I am amazed at how good she looks. She doesn't look (at least in any of these recent pics) like she's had ANY work done on her face. She looks fresh and beautiful, like she did in Casino.
