I just looked and one of his ( Andrew) middle names is Christian they might use that and I’m saying Philip will probably be in there too maybe, I dunno, Pip Brooksbank!
There’s Hugh in Jacks Dads name, Hugo Brooksbank! There’s Arthur’s, Edwards and Alberts everywhere in the names maybe Bertie Brooksbank!
I just like typing Brooksbank!
I’ll go with Freddie Brooksbank out of nowhere!

Well that’s unexpected I guess, only bit of that anyone guessed right was having Philip in there somewhere Augie or Gus for short maybe. Happy Family pics from her Insta Cute. Just remembered Peter Philips wife (ex?) is August. That might be why it feels odd for a boy to me. I’m sure there other boy August’s out there that I’m not thinking of Also I wonder is it a little nod to sister Beatrice and her 8/8/88 August birth date. Just curious I thought they would go very traditional |

I love the name! My friend named her son August and that’s what he goes by, no nickname. But if they do use a nickname, I vote Gus. Love that they included Philip. Jack looks so happy. Eugenia looks exhausted.
Peter Phillips’s ex-wife is Autumn, not August.

Eugenie has said in another post that he's named after his great-grandfather (Philip) and 2 greatx5-grandfathers, which are Prince Albert (one of his many middle names was August) and the other greatx5 is one of Jack's relatives. TBH it sounds like they just liked the name August and then later discovered that it was in Prince Albert's name.

Congratulations to the sweet family! My shallow take is I love the photos. As someone who is in the same age group and also had a first child not all that long ago, I've found the social media-lization of pregnancy and childbirth, where every moment needs to be captured via carefully curated photoshoot, distasteful. It's so refreshing that they just released normal family photos. I completely agree with you. I don’t know if I think it’s necessary distasteful. But it’s just overdone to the point that a couple huddled up in semi-coordinating clothes with their baby in front of a tree almost seems fresh now. |
