I like that they look tired as fuck, like real people do! Hate the head band. I was trying to figure out what was on her head. I'm concerned about her ring finger. I hope she took it off after the picture and I understand why she wore it for the picture, but I hope she took it off immediately after. You just had a baby! It's okay to let your fingers stretch out a bit without a ring suffocating it. |

Congratulations to the sweet family! My shallow take is I love the photos. As someone who is in the same age group and also had a first child not all that long ago, I've found the social media-lization of pregnancy and childbirth, where every moment needs to be captured via carefully curated photoshoot, distasteful. It's so refreshing that they just released normal family photos. I completely agree with you. I don’t know if I think it’s necessary distasteful. But it’s just overdone to the point that a couple huddled up in semi-coordinating clothes with their baby in front of a tree almost seems fresh now. We never got to have those photos as both my kids ended up in the NICU for a couple of weeks, but I agree, those would have been the photos we took too... It's nice to see someone (like Kate and to a degree Meghan) still all puffed up and looking radiant but also like trash ( it's really an achievement only new moms can get glowing and happy/ and exhausted and like they maybe smell like spit up/ being relieved for mesh underwear/ overwhelmingly in love/ wondering why they're sweating so much and when the heartburn will go away) |

It's a cute photo though, despite the large headband. I can't believe she's had the baby already. How many months along was she when they announced her pregnancy? |

I just learned that the the last and only other Duke of Sussex was named Augustus, so maybe the name is also a nod from Eugenie to her favorite cousin?

So what was up with Jack Brooksbank hanging out with topless women on a speedboat this weekend? I know he was in Capri for a charity ball as part of his job with Casamigos, but this just really isn't the best look. That being said, he seemed to have no problem with being photographed.
Maybe they do things differently in Europe.

He's not European enough to get away with that. Eugenie's home with an infant and he's off doing that? Very bad look.
And it's not like it was a big party with a lot of people, it looked like it was just him and the women and the crew on the boat.
And here I have been side-eyeing Beatrice's beautiful looking husband when I should have been side-eying Eugenie's homely, pasty dorky husband.
