The only thing there was was an interview that he gave in Sweden where he talked about living with a gay man. Apparently this guy kept hitting on him until he finally told him he wouldn't suck his dick. That's the only thing related to him being gay.

Just to add on (from the same interview), this was when he was a poor student living in NYC. The guy who owned the building only rented to young, good looking men, and frequently acted inappropriately around his tenants.

I recall reading a few interviews, including a transcript of a chat from a website he used to have, where he indicated he was straight but not adverse to playing gay/bi characters.

Here's an English transcript of the interview from the Swedish magazine, Café. It's a nice long read and gives a lot of background on him.

From Leeds he applied to the teather school Marymount in New York. He lived with a 55 year old Filipino designer named René.

- He rented out several rooms and I noticed that only 20 year old guys moved in. When I came home to study he thought I looked tense and wanted to give me a massage. I just laughed. He knew I was straight, but refused to give up his hopes. Every day he would come crawling on all fours, trying to get something to happen. I told him: ”René, cut it out. I’m not going to suck your dick, you know that”.

After half a year Alexander Skarsgård moved back to Sweden. He had met a girl in Stockholm. He was passionately in love and decided to give love a go. Two days after he landed at the airport, she broke up with him.

The 32-year-old True Blood actor is apparently a very good kisser, says Lady Gaga, who featured him in her “Paparazzi” music video.
