I hate her hair. ( I've never been a dreadlocks person) I love her hair and one of the reasons I do is because I thought that when she first started her locs it was a great way to deviate from Eurocentric standard of beauty. Hell, the second season of A Different World, in the wake of Lisa's departure Debbie Allen insisted on getting rid of the weaves on the actresses, celebrate their various textures. Lisa being held up as a sex symbol and wearing her hair in locs was (and still is) a good look.

Yeah, I always thought she was really beautiful. So that might blind my opinion of her runway looks. I know she doesn't dress high fashion. But she's gorgeous, and I love dreads on the right person (like any hairstyle), and she looks great with them.

I totally squeed at the pic of her with Lenny! Me too! It was the same reaction I had to a recent clip of Billy Joel singing Uptown Girl to Christie Brinkley. I love Lisa Bonet and her hair and her style. It works for her. She's gorgeous (IMO), so that helps too.

Grown and sexy. So what if her Met Gala garb was a little off kilter. She's always done her own thing, and I'd rather see that on her than on Shailene Woodley.

I love Lenny Kravitz, but Jason Momoa is a whole other world of "Daaayyuuum!"

I have to agree with this as I detest weaves and wish they'd all just go away, wigs are cool, but weaves ruin your hairline, just ask Naomi Campbell.

I used to watch Project Runway like it was my job. Out of all the seasons I ever watched, I really remember only 2 models. 1 was crazy ass Morgan, who wore one of the designers dresses out to party the night before the runway and had various other meltdown situations. The other was Nazri, the amazing and stunning model who rocked the shit out Mykael Knight's Pam Grier tribute hot pants. Her hair was glorious and natural and amazing and she was everything The world needs all different people, and I enjoy seeing people be who they want to be and how they want to be.
