Arsenio should have left it alone. Everybody knows Sinead has extreme mental illness and posts delusional shit on Facebook when her family fails to get her password away from her.

People who follow celebrity culture closely probably do. People who follow it casually or not at all might not have. Every article I've seen regarding that story has mentioned that Sinead worked with Prince and was famous during Arsenio's heyday. I'm not saying Arsenio shouldn't have been or couldn't have been a bigger person, but I don't think people automatically disregarded what she said because they gauged it against her social media history. I saw so many facebook and instagram posts about why "they" killed Prince and people are so hungry for blind items and conspiracy theories these days that I don't think a gossip item originating with someone suffering from mental illness would invalidate it for a lot of people. |

I have to agree. I mean clearly Sinead has serious problems and needs help, but other people have the right to protect themselves from being collateral damage.

Bless her heart. Just the fact that she went after Arsenio Hall shows mentally she's stuck in the 90's. I'm glad she was found safe though. Whatever issues she's got, it sounds like there's family drama on top of it. Or else she's causing family drama because she's feeling disturbed.
Prince's death might have triggered something in her. I know she was not close to Prince and had some issues with him. But her version of his song was when she was at the peak of her fame and a flood of memories- good or bad might have set something off in her. She's seemed increasingly fragile in the past few years. :-(.

Mentally ill or not, she libeled him. He has every right to sue her for it. I would if someone was maligning my name and reputation.
